Regarding Genies

Hey Peeps:

Just to let you all know, since I'm seeing so many threads regarding Genies popping up over the last day - they will not be released this week. The release is imminent though, very soon actually.

Sorry i can't get more specific then that.

    ok if we're talking about genies anyway
    and GM started this post , maybe i'll get serious reply

    these genies , what is their purpose?

    they're just an extra add to get some more fun or challenge in the game?
    they're just another add to get money out of them? (don't blame you, altho :p)
    or are they to balance out the power between all classes and veno's

    for last option , i don't wanna get a discussion topic again but ... you can't ignore the fact that veno's (who were in origine the pro pve class ) now they are even more pro in pve because of herc and also (almost?) best class for pvp
    and again , i'm nt complaining , i'm just saying.

    Aw i was hoping for my little genie tired of useing my bunny
    some ideas-
    maybe make the genies have some restore power in some way that way dont have to look for 30 mins for clarics
    healing be good to.

    but thank u for leting us know and im awaiting the update

    Thanks Dvo, can't wait. And yes, everyone, patience is a virtue. I am still assuming some kind of goodie will be released after tonight's update... There always is at least 1 new thing. Happy hunting!

    I think Dvorak said in another post that it was going to come out in a couple weeks or less last week i think....., so maybe next week?

    I hear that Genies are for squad/self effect purposes only. (They have no attack abilities.)

    My best guess would be that they are to help even the balance against the magic mobs/bosses for BM/Barb, and the physical mobs/bosses for archers/Wizards. Maybe they will have some abilities that will improve mana rates etc for the clerics/venos. But if they need to be summond as a pet then veno's wouldn't be able to use them simultaniously with there Herc/Nix. And maybe it will make PvP with said Veno's possible.

    But I'm no expert so don't take my word for it.

    It was already said that a veno can have a normal pet and a genie out at the same time :P
    Genies are not going to replace normal veno pets. They'll hover around your head like the sage/demon fairies does.

    If you look in your inventory you will see that there is already a Genie slot for future Genies. So I guess that makes it possible for Veno's to use the pet and have a Genie at the side at the same time. b:laugh
