Stuck at lv 29

Hey I got a lil problem, more like a minor inconvenience. I'm at lvl 29, did my FB and everything, did the quest where I need to kill Yasheng, and now I'm at 50% and no more quests left (Other than the Hidden Orchid quest which I cannot do because I can't get to heavens tear). My only options are doing DQs or Grinding which takes forever. Any tips?

Yeah, you'll just have to grind. Unless you can find scrolls and get a bit of experience from them. Or...join other people's FBs, if they allow you to. Otherwise...yeah, you're stuck with grinding.0

At level 29 you can grind to level pretty quicky, 1 hour solid grind will net you about 30-50%.Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.
Send me a mail if you wanna ask/request anything

Grab some One Man Army/Solo's from the Sentries, and grind those. You'll be grateful for the Rep later when you want your Rank equipment.
Alternately you can grind some water mobs - they give an extra exp boost and are good for extra coin fundage as well. Hail to the buddha hand drops! But at this point you'll have to go either above or below your level to grind water mobs - evil level gap there But turtles make a nice quick grind at least and their drops are fairly plentiful. Hay anyone?
Tabbed FBs are good too. Quick 5k exp If you're running with the right squad through FB19 that's only 15 minutes ^x^[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Best record 9 min 3x secs. From the word "Go" Needed a barb though.0 -
Sweet. I should time the next one we run in my faction. I went as a backup DD on the last run but the forward players cleared virtually everything out before I could even round a turn XD BM and Archers tanking. My first FB19 took about 15 minutes and we spent a little time in each chamber to work on the clearout (by We I meant all of them since I was the lowbie tabber XD). This last one though we just kept moving forward and the Cleric had virtually nothing to do. It was surreal XD
But yes... point being to the OP, get in on some FB19 runs as a DD/Cleric Guard. 5k Exp, 1k spirit, plus that new blood crystal thing. The market's confused on the price of those right now though XD If the tanker is good and everyone knows how to do backup damage without pulling the aggro from the tank, it's some easy exp.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

How can you be finished with all quests to level 29 and NOT be over 30? I blinked and flew by 30 so fast I didn't even notice.0

I'll probably be in the same position with my wizard... I have noticed that with this class, I tend to get overall less exp by the time im done with certain quests than I do with other classes. On both wizards I've played it's been like this. It's almost as if the Exp rate is lower for us or we take more Xp to level up than other classes, which is not the case. I think it has to do with our class being heavy hitters but low defense, so we only fight one thing at a time instead of not worrying about aggro'ing 2 things at once for fear of death. Which means less kills and over time less exp.
That's just my theory... I even fight multiple mobs occasionally, but not the 3+ I tend to do at once with all my other classes, including the other magic classes (veno / cleric).
Personally, I love this class, it's the most challenging class to play, which only adds to my gameplay. But the later levels with the hours of grinding are really going to wear me down, since the lower levels don't go by quite as fast.0 -
I've been doing all right, and I've been completing virtually every quest in a squad of 2 - so my EXP earning is halved. I have a couple quests left to do and will be 29 soon myself. I'm keeping pace okay with skills as well. All my important ones have their highest level possible for my culti/lv, but it's really, really close points wise. I've been skipping some of the ones I don't want to get at all, or don't want to level. I'm just hoping the spirit cost isn't going to be obscene for the first level of my 29 skills
When I need things to go a little faster I boot hubby from the squad for a little while to get the full exp/sp. It's so much fun to see him try to assist me on a mob after that and then realize that he can't lay a finger on the drops ^x^Take the moment in your hands, and dust off the parts that you wish weren't there. Hold onto and pursue the parts you enjoy, letting the drifting dust fade away on the wind, remembered and learned from, but no trouble to you now. ~ Myself, 4/4/09.
