I played PWI since November last year so for quite a while and I noticed that the majority of guilds I known to own TW and be successful were how you say "interested to be the so called bad boys of server"

Like RoC from what I knew they pretty much wanted that bad reputation, as well as Enraged.

Then the nice guilds die.. slowly fade off that TW map, well Radiance weren't bad imo but they weren't uber nice or anything ^^

so yeah I was so bored I made this thread b:pleased

    Radiance has never tried to be the bad guys infact they worked really hard to be the saints of the server, at least outside the guild anyway.

    Lets face it, the game would be rather boring without the guilds like RoC and Enrage to spice things up, we all love to hate the "bad guys".

    People get a bit carried away with it sometimes and forget that its only a game, the bad guys arent actually bad guys but just someone sitting at a pc that chooses to play the game a different way.

    I think please and I started to taint rads image ,we were no where near saints and we never tried to be :) I always loved rad though

    I think Enrage has pretty good reputation o_o

    There are very little ppl in the server who has personal problems with Enrage. We just say a few things on world chat and bust a few posts on the forum and viola 90% of the server hates us.

    The world needs both good and bad to function , just as a battery needs both the negative and positive terminals to operate functionally. There is no real good or bad , it is all based up on our perception of the events. For example if i beat up an old lady then it may look bad to one person but if someone to whom the old lady has been mean and cruel all her life it will look good. We live our life based on the interpretation of the real world events.

    A farmer had a horse but one day, the horse ran away and so the farmer and his son had to plow their fields themselves. Their neighbors said, Oh, what bad luck that your horse ran away! But the farmer replied, Bad luck, good luck, who knows?

    The next week, the horse returned to the farm, bringing a herd of wild horses with him. What wonderful luck! cried the neighbors, but the farmer responded, Good luck, bad luck, who knows?

    Then, the farmers son was thrown as he tried to ride one of the wild horses, and he broke his leg. Ah, such bad luck,sympathized the neighbors. Once again, the farmer responded, Bad luck, good luck, who knows?

    A short time later, the ruler of the country recruited all young men to join his army for battle. The son, with his broken leg, was left at home. What good luck that your son was not forced into battle!celebrated the neighbors. And the farmer remarked, Good luck, bad luck, who knows?

    But if good and evil do not exist, then how does the world function? If you beat up the old lady for the sake of beating up an old lady then it doesn't matter what the possible outcomes are, as we are unable to account for every variable anything that cannot be connected directly will be ignored. Now that person who the old lady has been cruel to may be grateful that you've injured his torturer but hopefully he's not too blind to see that you have commited an act of evil which by pure chance had a positive outcome. Events must be judged independently, the possibility of the abused person is a moot point, might as well go to say that the person could have travelled back in time to ensure that Hitler stayed in power. As you say, life is based on the interperatation of real world events, judgements must be made which go one way or the other, you can't keep coming up with meaningless scenarios to justify an event which has a clear situation.

    A man falls from a plane and his parachute fails to open leading to him tumbling 200m through the air, somehow he lands with only a broken leg. You can say that the person is lucky but as mentioned before, events must be judged independently, the lack of luck in one event inadvertently leading to a lucky even does not make the original event lucky. Thus the fact that the event of the parachute failing to open in the first place is unlucky regardless of outcome. By extention the act of beating up an old lady without justification is an act of evil regardless of any random events that may have been triggered by it.

    I don't see how that changes things. It's from the perspective of the masses that sees the act as evil. All it takes is for circumstances to change and that same act of stabbing her could be considered a good thing.

    well, i personally love enrage and the...rage they bring to the server.
    however, anytime i dare express this mildly kept to myself love for enrage to any of the people in hang out with in game it usually goes something along the lines of:
    "u liek thos ksin bastrds!? y!?!!!!11!!!"
    now, i'm not a high enough level i guess to really experience REAL ksing (as i am a veno and kick the snot out of anyone who tries to KS me) but i fear that's why most of the server dislikes them. they're notorious for KSing people while they're grinding. it's just some people talk about KSing say...oracle bosses on WC and so people who hate them because it's trendy started happening.

    i figure if you get KS'ed it's because you aren't good enough to beat them so you fail and don't get the exp.
