well... its true i managed to play for some time yesterday late...
first time i DCED then i tried something based on what ExELFine
said. i clicked on "Whisper" in the chat bar and then waited for about 5 minutes without talking to anyone and could play fine... i dont know if i could play due to the late hour or what i did. ill try again soon.
its shame no one can help us even a little.b:cry

i called them a few mins ago and they say they will fix it in about 2 days
nothing else to do then wait

They have been saying it for almost 6 days now lol

hi litle story at the end of the weekend i talk to 012 isp and they give free gamer pack to sunday becuz costermer phone was not working and i play PWi freelly withouht d/c today i called agian did some mess and little yelling and they give me gamer pack for free no limited time
all 012 coustemers do that do not settle for anyting b:pleased

I have the same problem, started a week ago.I click on any npc and nothing happens,plis fix this problem.

If you try to log back in and it says you're already logged in, you can check the Force Log box to force the server to completely disconnect your character so you can get on.

after a long chat with 012 i got this replay:

I've read through this entire (Very long) topic, and have came to the following conclusions:

It is extremely unlikely to be an issue with PW's server. (This is evident because you seem to be able to play better at later hours. An issue with the server would NOT improve due to local conditions.)

Based on that alone - it can be concluded that your ability to play improves as local internet traffic decreases. (Due to it being later at night - less people on the computers ect).

I also noticed that it seems as though when you guys stop playing for about 24 hours, you can play for ~1-3 hours during the day (Higher internet traffic) before the dc's start again.

Based on that - it can be concluded that your ISP(s) are limiting the amount of continues traffic that any one person can send during peak internet usage to insure there is enough bandwidth to give everyone an equal online experience.

It seems as though after playing for a few hours during 'peak' usage times - the isp will start limiting the amount of either data (in kb/mb ect) or packets of information that can be sent in a given time frame. Since online games tend to send alot of packets it is easy to suspect the isp is blocking those packets from being sent.


Since this seems to have occurred across multiple isp's in the same country, it can be theorized that a software developer sold some sort of "internet traffic optimization/prioritization" software to either the government (To sort of control internet traffic in general) or the ISP's (To give their customer's as a whole a better experience, and prevent the whole 1% of users eating up 90% of the bandwidth that we have in the usa).

Just my input - I noticed a few people attacking PW's GM's for answers - I do not see how they could fix the issue. Even if the server farm that runs pw was sitting at my house - and I was in charge of it, there wouldn't be a thing in the world I could do to fix the problem assuming even one of the two conclusions I drew are correct.



NOTE: To rule out a -possibly- correctable DNS issue - try creating a character on a different server from the one you currently play on, and see if that works (during peak hours of course). Its a long shot though.

The good new's is if it is some new piece of software it is a bug that -should- be eventually corrected. Games DO NOT use much bandwidth at all, they DO send a lot of packets - but those packets do not contain a large amount of data.
