Info on World Boss

Are they any guide or comprehensive information on World Bosses? I've searched everywhere, but couldn't find any. Pwdatabase doesn't offer any insight other than stats and coordinates, and there are lots of lvl 150 monsters listed, so I can only pull up the few WBs that I know of.

If you have any insight, strategies, experiences, or just coordinates on World Bosses, please share. Thank you.b:thanks

    Ask nef I think their the ones to blame for killing shadow doll and a couple other cuddly lv150 mobs b:chuckle

    I dont know of any guide which gives in depth details about World Bosses <WB>.

    But, I can give you a few things that I know of:

    1- Most WBs have around 20M HP <sometimes more>. So, with a formidable DD team, it takes between 20-25 minutes to kill them

    2- You need a very good tank <sometimes with BB Cleric> to tank most bosses, as they hit hard.

    3- Some bosses have AoE dmg. Some high enough to one shot Robes and low HP LAs. Some have AoE mana drain <read as Ancient Spearman>. So, beware charm wearers.


    So, summarising, you need a very good team <of about 20-30> people, a very very good tank <may be 2>, clerics spamming heals and BB and a bunch of DDs to take down a World Boss with ease.

    Some more info: They take 24hrs to respawn after killed.

    drops: perfect shards, high lvl mats, chrono pages i think? idk if they drop anything else, I have yet to find a guide on them.

    What I'd like to know is where Harpy Wraith has been going off to recently... I'm assuming the WC drop pick-up notification for her is still functioning and whoever is messing with her and the exploit is failing to do it properly so that she gives her drops, but hopefully GMs are watching this given even MY-EN can't take her legitimately, much less us.

    Ive also heard in another post that a couple of venos healing a 9x herc with the phoenix blessing of the pack skill can take some WB (one that was said was shadow doll.)

    Im curious to try and obtain and see if I can tank one with veno friends later. I wanna kill that dumb minion of death in burning heart >_>;

    Minion of death has an AOE that will 1 or 2 shot you btw :P

    how about that cerberean or mystery of antiquity guys in harshlands or machinoslitt? any AOEs there?

    They pretty much all have some sort of aoe capability, it's just a matter of degree.

    And I said people in my faction were cloning me; oddly we seem to be only ones who go sage more than demon >_>

    i suppose when i get that high i will just go and find which ones can be done with a million venomancers :P.

    That's a normal world boss, as far as I can tell. Tankable by barb with cleric bb. Physical aoe unless tanked. Took 20 minutes. Soul Hunter took almost 2 hours.

    My guild and I killed Soul Hunter yesterday.
    Is the only thing bosses drop are shards?

    since they are out in the open...

    Have they change the names for Deiciter Black and Deiciter White yet?

    For some reasons...the white guy is named black and the black guy is named white b:laugh

    Someone got it wrong during the translations...(It is right in the chinese versions) havent done mini bosses in a long while so... have they changed the name yet? XD

    Maybe they should change their names to Deceiver Black and Deceiver White b:chuckle

    They drop other things that are craftable into higher lvl gears (mostly 90+) but its a little hassle to collect them from other bosses too >.<

    If they are decently killable, dont let other factions deter you with a "That boss isnt worth it" comment, since half the time your doing it for the fun anyways. The nef director told me just that while we were killing doll, and there he was, standing 40min or so waiting for the ToD (time of death) :P contradiction at its fullest.

    lol Sounds like maybe he was hoping you'd decide to not kill it and just leave, so he could bring in some ppl and kill it instead of having to wait.

    not that hard, we killed it with 8 main pple. (i think 3 others came at the end to help out out of curiousity) 1 barb and 1 cleric BB-ing the main PT, and 1 ironhearting the barb. the rest was DD. Basically ALL you need is DD aside from 1 barb and 2 clerics, and no they dont have to be in their high Lv80s or anything.

    Someone said that they saw AsianArcher (not sure if the spelling is correct) soloed Soul Hunter by himself. As far as I know Soul Hunter wasn't there the next day, so it must have been killed. If anyone has screen shots or something, I'd like to see them, and if AsianArcher really did survive and kill him, major kuddos to you. :D

    I soloed SoulHunter when I was lvl 62. It just took all day. It doesn't really attack ranged people, just throw a lot of debuffs. Slow channel, decrease mp/hp, stun... etc, and all of them aoe. Lure it to the road where there are no mobs to attack you, and you're good. The stun cuts off macros, so you'll have to use autoclick/autokey (which is against TOS) if you don't want to stay in front of the computer all day.

    Not worth the hassle, in my opinion...b:tired
