You now have the option to turn certain filters on in the PVP protections Menu:

If target is RED NAMED, buff is cast on yourself.
If target is not your FACTION, buff is cast on yourself.
If target is not in your SQUAD, buff is cast on yourself.

If any of these filters are on while you are targeted on an enemy that is Red named, not of your Faction, or not of your Squad, the buff or healing spell will be cast on yourself instead of the targeted player.

    This is huge and changes the game play a lot now. Before I used to wonder why I could win in duels, but not in PvP against the same player. Then I learned I was healing him instead of me and all hope was lost. Now though....well now.....now it is the time for clerics to kick some butt.

    Used a few times already today- this is probably more important to clerics than getting genie! b:pleased

    One slight bad thing is that you need to be in casting range for self heals to work. So you cant have someone targeted from far, like a much higher elevation, cast a few self heals, drop down then sneak attack. Not like i would do stuff like that. b:surrender

    I can't tell you how many times i went to heal myself (habit from killing mobs) and healed my attacker....b:sad

    i wonder if that works with a wizards buff....
    pfft like a wizard uses their buff on themselves lmao (FB)
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    I dont even use this function. If you wanna heal yourself just press escape, or target yourself. :[

    Hitting escape works, but sometimes people are a pain to target, so losing that target is a bother.

    Just have to form new habits now, w00t.
