Howdy All:

Due to technical issues with the Auction House, we will be conducting maintenance tonight (Wednesday, April 29) from 11 p.m. - 1 a.m. (Pacific).

Your client will download/install a small patch and hopefully after that all will be well with your player-to-player commerce transactions! b:victory

    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    So out of curiosity with this next patch to fix the AH will we actually be able to search using words/names of items now or is it still limited to using the various filters and searching only by auction number?

    it will just work like it did before

    text search will prolly never work because the orig AH is in chinese (mandarin) and chinese characters dont form words like in western languages. for that reason the database in which things are stored was built in such a weird way that there prolly will never be a text search without massive amounts of extra coding.

    Seems like the Cube also has issues, hope you can look into it. Personally, my travels were safe but it seems some peeps are just waiting on noobs to show up, whatever that means b:shutup
