I dont know why but whenever i attepmt AoE grinding mobs i seem to almost be dead, even after a Sutra. I use axes, and i always put in 3 str, 1 vit and 1 dex. any ideas on how i can survive longer?

Diamond heals aren't your only option- team up with a cleric, or consider investing into firm apocathery skills in manufacturing. Also, make sure you upgrade your Aura of the Golden Bell skill and the AoE (I assume you use axes or the like)
After that, keep your healing items at hand and don't bite off more than you can chew, really. ^_^

Have a charm... Or a cleric. Try to train on melee mobs if there's any around. If you find a group of them have your golden bell maxed and always in effect and use your Marrow. You'll throw up your Pdef loads. Distant Dustwraiths (lvl 47) are a good one for your level. There's a one man army for them. Just below sundown town. Learn how many you can cope with at one time and stick to it. If you try stupid things you'll probably die (learned from experience)0

Yea i tried all these ones. but wherever i go, there HAS to be a magic mob. plus there isnt a healer near me, and if there is, they refuse to help me. im too poor to get skills (thats why i tr to grind cash :] ). Someone told me having a high crit rate was good. any ideas?"Closing this for excess letter Q's" - hawk0 -
To successfully AoE grind, you need to burn up event pots or a charm... or just find a cleric your level or a few levels lower... Diamond Sutra + normal pots do not cut it for power AoE grinding, IMO.
Also make sure your Alter Marrow Phys is maxed (or as high as you can level it).
You'll both get great XP and you won't have to worry about dying (and if you do, they can rez you).0 -
Alright, ill get onto that. Maybe ill just stick to killing one unless im charmed. Now i need to know stats. I have 60 vit at this point. should i cap there, spam some dex, then continue on vit later?"Closing this for excess letter Q's" - hawk0

Well you should be able to AoE 2-3 at a time with just pots and sutra, depending on which mobs you actually pick. From 50-70ish, there weren't many mobs that you could AoE grind anyway, if I remember correctly.
I pretty much made sure I would have the STR requirement for my next upgrade planned in advance and balanced my Dex and Vit. That gave me a nice balance of resilience and kept me from missing too much.
It's all personal preference, but for lvl 50-70 I would focus more on STR/VIT.
Level 72-74ish is when you can start grinding on Seaweed Theives. Before that were lvl 70-ish Acephalic Death Knights (I think) which I could do 3-4 at a time. There weren't any real AoE grindable mobs that I can remember from 50ish to 70ish though, so keep that in mind.0 -

alright then. if there isnt many grindable mobs, ill leave it to soloing. at this point i put in 3str 1vit and 1dex. is that good for now?"Closing this for excess letter Q's" - hawk0 -

You can allready start here around lvl 65 - if you take an healer with you that flies in the air and does occasionaly his ulti you don't need heiro nor great EQ. If you depend on charms it will be a bit harder but still doable. At least with the lvl 70 axe (best with the berserk effect) you can do it solo. I did grind there and did take always half the spot in one run and the other half in the second run. And then start it all over. With priest its way cheaper - with charm its way more XP. Priest in my eyes cannot level solo as fast as healing you so it should be no problem to find one. But you have to decide.0 -

What can you AoE grind on at 65? I'm past that but I don't remember much in Tusk or the Swamps that you can AoE grind on. Most of the mobs are either solo or kite you.0 -

the "Seaweed Theives." - find their position in pwdatabase - on MY/MS its north eas of peach dock / south east of ancient dragon city. Thei are fast, physonly, there are no other mag mobs in between, they don't kite, they respawn fast - perfect0 -
Level 52 scrhunchkins are good to grind on. And they have good drops. And they are pure physical.Retired

Yeah, those were the last AoE grindable mobs that I can remember until the Acephelic Death Knights which are high 68-70ish mobs.the "Seaweed Theives." - find their position in pwdatabase - on MY/MS its north eas of peach dock / south east of ancient dragon city. Ok, those are lvl 7x mobs and if you read my posts, I already mentioned them. I wouldn't suggest those for 5x-low 6x aoe grinding.0 -
Quick reference guide:
65-72 Seaweeds: By sanct
72-79 South YKD (NightScream Island - go into the boat at dreamweaver and go to the south spawn by a huge rock)
77-83 North YKD (Same but go north past the bridge)
83-90 Rocken Wolves: East of Immolation camp
83-90 Spiders: By Intrepid
87-9x + Ants: By Village Of Shattered Ice
9x+ Heaven / Hell: Mobs vary.
Just a quick guide on some spots.
Also always take a ep with you it's alot better to grind up two people at a cheep cost than one at an expensive one.
To Aoe, charms should be a must. (not always if the ep always pays attention) Yes even MP axe aoe skills are mana whores.b:cute
