Blademaster.? Or Barbarian.?

hi, im thinking of being a blademaster but then again iv seen barbarians and i they seem pretty good, but im not sure wich one is better. im mostly looking for a fun character that wont get me bored easly and is good at pvp. which class should i be?

bms are mainly a damage-dealing class that will grant u high damage (as expected) but is not good for tanking when compared to the untamed... the barbs are the tanks of the game that can take a lot of damage but can't deal the same amount of damage as a bm...

the choice is really up to u and on which of the two classes u'd like to invest ur time...maybe u'd like to consider the other classes as well before u make ur decision as of having fun while being powerful (sthg which doesn't really stand since every class has its pros and cons but u know what I mean xP)

Since all the BMs are saying barb, I would say barbs too. Well, not cause they chose it but cause barbs are really fun. BMs are fun too but barbs really have this amazing tanking body which you will really love. Bms are more of average on everything which might not suit your taste.

Barbs are not fun. In fact, they're downright boring as hell. Whats so fun about tanking bosses? They're not the best PvP'ers too unless they get some calamities and decent amount of cash for mistys and cash for leveling up perdition.

Lol bolinhas... Well I like it when you tank FB51 for me.. hehe. Anyway Barbs are cool classes at the later lvls they really are the most liked classes other than the clerics.

Blademaster if you going to be a blademaster, why i say this? because most blademasters think they have to get like barbs

Barb? is boring and hard class for me...

ill say blademaster cus its better in pvp that barbarian as long is not a rich one (2 mistys, +100000 things, all shards) Barbs wont be killed, but hard to kill with them too.

well, in my opinion i like sword bm, but ive seen lots of axes bm good too, so, Go bm. lol

It depends on how you want to play, Blademasters are fairly common and are sort of a do-anything type class. But, since there are a lot of them, when someone needs a BM for something, you're going to be up against good competition.

Barbs are pretty boring, but they are a character that is desired by many people and often have a much easier time getting into guilds and parties.

I rolled a barb and really don't like it much and the feeling of being used I hate as well.to me a bm is more independent and powerfull in dealling DMg and dealing it fast.its better than having to go into tigerform to be an attention grabber all the time oh and the character customizations suck to give a barb a true personality over eachother but thrive as another slammed clone in pw.but other than that barbs are usefull in holding aggro.....that's bout it.

allow my pandaself to disagree, at late levels, Barbarians are better DDs than BMs, we might MISS you guys if we don't use the proper strategy (Barbie secret b:chuckle) but we still outdamage you fair and square

I have played a Barb and i am now playing a BM. BMs kill faster, have higher defenses than barbs, and have amazing stuns. Barbs have CRAPLOADS of hp, making them damn hard to kill, are wanted for just about everything, and with some XS can rip through casters like there is no tomorrow. BMs have decent hp but nothing comparing to a barb, if you use alter marrows wrong you can easily get 1 hit, and aren't wanted (from experience) in things such as TT. Barbs have low accuracy unless you use Blood Bath (sacrificing your hp), have low damage, and use MASSIVE amounts of charm.

As for PvP capability, I have fought a BM as a Barb, and it ended in a stalemate. Between the defense of a BM (either physical OR magical) and the hp of a barb, both are a valid choice.

All servers need more tanks. Name a BM here who would not rather have somebody else in squad pay the armor repairs bill and take the heat so a BM could fully concentrate the fun part without being afraid of a charm tick- raining down some heavy steel on top of poor boss.

So yes - do the society a favor and roll a barb. And please don't quit in the middle of LV50's, ok?

Play BM, and own Barbs. Simple as that. Just know what you're doing.

I say Barbarian too. I like my BM but he kind of lacks in a few depts I would like to excel in.. Like having enough HP to take a magic attack or enough phys/magic defense to take archer hits

Well from my experience BMs are pretty good at PvP. You know, dueling. They have some amazing combos if you know how to play a BM right. (In a duel with no fairies or healing pots).

As for Barbs I hear they have an amazing end game. Plus they are wanted more for bosses cause they're just really good tankers.

But I suggest you go BM if you like dueling alot. But that doesn't mean that you'll win all your duels against a Barb, you gotta play your character right.

None of these (and there are more) were mentioned in the patch notes and all I want to know is WHY?

Berserk axes already made barbarian class overpowered because it allowed the tanker class to officially 1shot any robe/LA class, and if not 1shot then mow them down with ease. But with this buff to their skills it makes barbarians even MORE ridiculous, because they were overpowered before, now it's just broken.

Combined with genie skills such as 50(60?)% reduced damage, tree of protection, etc, how is anyone supposed to deal with them?

I'd rather have to deal with a phoenix then a barb at this point, even if you took away blood clot and/or healing.

If you even have to ask yourself the question "Barb or BM?" go barb. BM is for the ppl who know what they want.
