Anyone else getting errors trying to update like errors on elements.data or tasks.data

    Yeah, I am. I just keep clicking "Try again." It's at ~90% done so I don't want to just X it completely out and start from scratch. ><

    yea, I keep having to press "try again" just gonna keep doing it until it works, because it seems to be getting there slowly

    yeah i think thier using windows servers... :/ perhaps they have a maximum person per file access restrictions built in....

    I did the manual patch after mine got stuck on tasks. Went through really fast when I did that.

    The update wasn't working so I cancelled it. Now I can't update it. The message I'm getting is

    "Update server connection failed. Please try other update server"

    Can anyone give me some advice on what to do?

    EDIT: ! went the Manual Patch route and it seems to be working fine (:

    dont use the mirror... ifyou go manual patch freaking a man... lol click the main link.. >.< 535Kb/s down woot not half bad... still slow though..

    The last chunk of the patch is a bit large in size, so give it some time. If it continues to give you problems then the manual patch is definitely your best bet, as some others have noted already in this thread.

    Right this is fun, i patched it to V 123. NOW my client wants to update it to PWI Age of Spirits, but it doesn;t, it says Start Game, and it just shuts down. YAY!! b:angryb:surrenderb:cryb::angry

    Anyone else with this problem? I'm in europe...maybe that is an issue?

    I used the manual patch. It downloaded but now the launcher says "Update server under maintenance. Please to try again later". It's already updated. I need my fix.

    Ooh yay!!! Just clicked the update button a bunch of times. Now I can start!!!

    going on 2 hours now! Almost done...at 99%...unfortunately it has errored out 6 times at this last 1%...b:sad I feel as if I've been patient, but now I am sad!...yea not really but still.

    Every time my client paused for more than 10 seconds during update, I closed and restarted.

    Installed fine that way, cause if I had waited instead, it would have taken hours.

    I had this same error while patching thing, and contrary to what you believe, you CAN just "X" out of the download and it will start from where you left off when you open again...or maybe my client is just cooler hehe. Granted I had to close and open like 4 times but...yea it got the job done. b:victory (went pretty fast too)

    I've been having a hell of a time updating my client. Started the updates about an hour or so ago and still haven't finished yet.
    Not motivated enough to make another PWI siggy
