I have downloaded Perfect World International and all of its updates and ****, but when I start-up the game, log in and then make a character, ect. It will freeze/go crazy when I start up actual gameplay! Then computer mouse will stop moving and whole computer freezes up and then a constant beeping noise goes off continuously until I kill the power! Kinda like "...dingdingdingdingdingdingdingdingdingdingdingding..."

I'm sure I have updated drivers because I had to get updated drivers when this other game Last Chaos was not working, then it worked after I did so.

Anybody help me with this??? Please?! Thank you! Any help is much much much appreciated!

And I am using Vista 32-bit, but I know that has nothing to do with the problem and yes I am running program as administrator on computer.

I figure the problem must have to do with drivers or graphic card, but I'm clueless with this kind of stuff!!! Help!

If I saw that right earlier you did update your graphicscard by now? Your computer is normally strong enough for PW but that graphicscard is not exactly perfect for gaming. It can work but it is a hit or miss situation with it really. I would try sending in a ticket to Customer Service to see if they have any other ideas. Like I said it is possible to work though I personally would strongly encourage you to buy another card. Nvidia would be my own choice as they seem to have the best support.

Thanks, I'll try that. Although I thought we got new drivers at some point, then again they probably weren't the best for gaming. Thanks!

Oddly, it sounds like your keyboard has a stuck key. If your using a USB keyboard or mouse, I would also check to make sure they are both securely inserted. Believe it or not, Vista can sometimes "cancel" out stuck keys and you'd never realize that they stuck every now and then. It also could cause things to run slow, or very oddly. Also, if your keyboard and mouse happen to be bluetooth, there can be an issue there as well.
Graphics wise, your already in the full rendering mode you would be while playing the game. In the launcher you can turn all the graphics options down to minimal. I'm not aware of anything that would change between the character creation screen and the actual game play. I would also recommend that you play in windowed mode instead of full screen mode. I've had nothing but issues playing full screen but since I switched to using windowed mode I've had no issues at all.
    Hope this helps

    Saw the Direct X info...
First off make sure once the game is running you set processor Affinity so the game only uses one of your processor cores instead of both.
For more details on how to do this, try my other post here.

Your graphics card has enough memory however, it's actually using the same memory as your system, so it's going to run a fair amount slower. I've seen lots of problems with games when people use the integrated intel graphics cards.
