becoming a celestial?

Is it actually possible to become a celestial in this game? If so, what level do you have to get to in order to do so? Also, do you get to choose a look for your character or does each class have a specific appearance? A celestial in the Plume City was saying that you can maintain your original appearance so as to not draw attention to yourself, but is that true and is any of it actually attainable, or is it just story filler? My apologies for the long post, but this has been bugging me for a while now.

    You can become a Celstial sage or Celestial Demon. The only appearance difference is a little fairy that floats around you that changes every 10 levels after you get the initial one at 89. Demon and Sages get a third spark that adds all kinds of special things to your class depending on your class. What the guy in plume said is just a story filler not refering to players.
