This game really does have a funny way of showing how selectively culling mobs causes them to "adapt" to cope. Well, I'm just kinda bored after grinding those foxwings north of Isle of Misfortune for about 3 hours now and killing only those that were "convenient" aka not inc life or inc def. Yeah, almost every mob up here is one or the other now, lol.

So bored of killing these mobs ><

P.S. I tend to write random things when I'm bored out of my mind.

    lol there was once when me and 5 other wizzeh friends were killing huggy hares and scepters/dragomaids near the vilalge of naught area
    almost every mob was increaced magical resist =_=
    but we took care of them lolz 6 tempests at once ^^

    For me it's the opposite. Any mob with Increased Life is the first to die, because they don't take all that much longer to kill and yet pay out double the XP.

    I imagine its different for ranged classes and non ranged, as a BM I used to just hit the first monster I saw to not waste time running/flying.

    Double the EXP, and 4 times the extreme damage! Oh yea, they also get 3 shotted me by before they started attacking b:victory

    Ooo.... I am so jealous...

    I only get 150% exps from suicidal assault monsters (and from increased defense, increased attack, increase magic resistance, and increase magic attack monsters).

    Really? Because it usually is double o.o.... Well normal gives like 200 exp, Extreme gives 400 exp.

    Yeah me too, but he's a barb. I have to assume they prefer to stay away from sac assault and inc attack. I could be wrong I guess /shrug.

    Depending on if they can get their mag attack off, I kinda like sacrifical assault and don't mind increase mag attack.

    Increased attack/defense/life is always annoying imo.

    Increase movement speed and increase mag defense are always welcome b:cute.

    But as a general rule I attack the closest mob.

    It seems the XP modifier is different for different yellow texts. As far as I can tell from grinding...

    Inc. Life, Inc. Movement, Inc. Defense, Inc. Magic Defense all pay out 200% exp.

    Inc. Attack, Inc. Magic Attack, Sacrificial Assault all pay out 150%

    Weak gives 50%.

    I have no biases - I hunt down and kill all mobs equally. b:chuckle

    Erm...except for in FB - was helping with a 20x3 in FB79 yesterday and every other mob was Sac Assault. Poor veno kept getting one-shotted anytime the barb's flesh ream missed. Finally just started stunning the mobs after every pull when veno ran out of angels. Level 8 seal skills FTW. b:surrender
