Why are SPEAR Bms so Rare

maybe its just me. I'm on sanc and I'm a lvl 80ish Pure Spear BM and for the most part I get Dualed all the time, and its always the same darn message I've never seen a spear BM before wanna dual.

Lvling wise I dont think they level any slower then other types of BMS I've outlvled or have almost caught ot the most Axe/Sword BMS that I know when I started when I was lvl 20 they were lvl 60ish already.

PVP wise Spears Rock I can kill almost every caster and archer I know in about 3-5 attacks and if they have HP charms it only takes about 2 more attacks cept the players with sick gear or silly demons and sages and when it comes to barbs/BMS throw 4 bleeds on them leap back and throw some range skills on them and then stun them when they walk up to you and just start damaging them and they die to. not to mention farstrike and meteor rush do awesome damage and have really fast cooldowns

PVE wise we do pretty well AOEing grinding isn't to hard just gotta get the hang of it. and with single mobs start off with aeion blade and just **** away
but my main questions is why do most BMS go AXE and Blades? as main?

    My guess is that people like to stun lock.

    As warmachine said "Being stunlocked is really ****". And it really is.

    It's a really scary experience to see someone hammer away at your hp and realizing that you can do absolutely nothing about it. Conversely it feels so good to do it.

    There're a lot of Spear BM's here in Lost City.

    Of course Axe/Hammer is the most used weapon, because it is the best for grinding and PvP up to level 90-95.

    Also a lot of newbies get misled because of the name of the class "Blademaster" and they actually think the weapon they should use is "Blade". So you see a lot of players using that kind of weapon because of the lack of information.

    I have been fighting in TW every week for months, but I hopefully can take a break now, so I will mention: I am currently equipped such that I can mostly ignore people when they try and stunlock me.

    I am not very fantastic, in any other sense, but stunlocks? I can deal with stunlocks for long enough... (Lots of guilds we fought would be using blademaster screens against people approaching their clerics.)

    What spear is suggested for lvl 90+. Just trying to stay as informed as possible. And for that matter what spear path in general is best.

    I think once im 95, I'll use the CV spear and swap between GX. Depends on how hard it is to farm.

    GX + Zerk Spear should be fun :3

    You use a combination of Axe and Spear. More specific: GX and CV Spear.

    At level 90 one is able to use GX, which is arguably the best Axe for PvP, so it is pretty much the end-game weapon for that path.

    At level 95 one is able to use the CV Spear (Dance of Universe) which, once refined, gives a higher physical attack than GX (even with less STR) making Spear the best weapon for PvP when it comes to damage.

    So pretty much one use GX for star the stun-locking, damaging with AoE's, and Spear for ranged attacks, Hell Meteor Rush (in case you went Hell), and damaging overall.

    At level 99 you are able to use Axe/Spear with +1 range, and of course, the debuff Spear.

    Well since I am on a PvE server that information is best for me. But I don't want to stop learning so any information on what best for PvP is good too. ( I assume the berserk spear)

    And Rich and poor would both be good. Actually in between would be best. As I personally don't fall into either category. But like I said above both extremes is good. Can't have too much information IMO.
