I went to the auction house the other day and saw some info on gold trading accounts(which made absolutely no sense to me). I have some gold and i wish to sell some but cant figure out how to unlock my gold to sell it. Where do i make a gold trade account? set up the password and all of that?

Basically, on the interface where you buy and sell stuff, you need to deposit the gold you wish to sell.
Once you have that, the gold is in your account, so when you set up a sale at a specific price it sells that gold you have in there.

I understand how it works. The part I get stuck at is the part where you need to unlock your gold to put funds in to have them available to use. The problem is it requires a password to unlock it when i never made 1 to start with

If this is your first time, the password is blank. Just unlock it and you do not need to enter any password.
You can change the password later from blank to whatever you want.

I'm not sure if you got this resolved or not. But after allot of frustration I finally figured out my problem with gold trading.

If you have a pass on your Bank then it's the same password for your gold account. It worked on mine finally.

K, I'm having the same exact problem and I don't see anywhere on this thread how it's been resolved. How do I get a password to unlock my gold trading account?! So freakin' frustrated right now...

No, this isn't true. If you've never used the gold trader the password isn't just "blank". It say's "error" if all you do is push done. Soooooo, how do you get a password? Somebody said something about where you buy and sell... What, at the Merchant? Cause it's definately not at the auctioneer.
