just though i would ask cause of my archer that i have that is mainly dex
probably one of the smartest in perfect world
yet the lowest of level

    It depends on your style of play. The majority of archers are pure dex. I restatted to that build and I like it. The next most popular build is the hybrid. It's the same as dex just with more vit. Occasionally you'll find people that use a pvp build with mostly close-ranged attacks and stuns.

    Pure dex = more damage (dies easier so pay attn to your surroundings)
    Hybrid = slightly less damage but higher survivability

    Yesterday I saw an archer in full TT70 heavy armor O_O
    Also saw a lev 30~ arcane archer. Some people are weird

    Anyone who thinks a vit build archer is stupid ... well u r in for a suprise.... botht the builds wrk ... if not sure just come to lost city and i'll show u .... go pure dex sure so i can one shot u .... to ppl other than those "'pure wins' noobs" well its largely ur play style (as has been said in a lot of other threads).

    FYI. Anything else than pure or hybrid is damn noobish.

    Yeah... A week ago I was getting some people to do Chin with me.
    Found a good team... AND a arcane archer. I kept quiet and all of a sudden she said out loud in front me of that LIGHT ARMOR archers suck.

    Im seeing a lot with arcane and a few with heavy. Funny.

    Im like partially hybrid, with a bit of vit, bit of maq, and bit more strength and lots of dex.
    I put a points on magic coz my mana runs out so fast and have to medi for like 2 mins to recover

    VIT archers are easy to ****. pure DEX Archer's **** us before we make it to them. You choose.

    i have tried both, i was a vit archer from lvl 1- 90. The extra hp is only useful in TT because it allows for better survivability from aoe bosses at the lower lvls. But if you have good gear meaning having alot of hp shards and decent refining, surviving in TT is not a problem. In terms of pvp, dex archers should be able to beat vit archer due to extra damage and crit but it can still go both ways, just depends who crits first or the most.

    I would like pure dex.
    upgrading +5 all equipment is about 4500 vit raise at lvl 90 & would made you fast kill at TW except Beast race & warriorb:pleased.

    Conclusion is pure dex is expensive than hybrid b:cry.

    I did both Hybrid and Pure I restated around level 50 and found that Pure was the way to go for me.

    Having more HP is great and all but, as a pure I can kill anything before it reaches me using normal hits only o.O... Who needs more HP when you don't get hit? Obviously that changes later on when mobs start to cast more...

    As a Hybrid I found that I would die a lot even though I had more HP because monsters would reach me before they would die. At the time the HP added by VIT wasn't that much. I think it ended up to be like 600ish HP. To me more DMG > 600 HP.

    dex all the way. and it doesnt hurt to have a good weapon. i have a bronze hp charm (100k) and i have mana pots. i have moonlight (llvl 22 legndary) and i kill monsters before they get to me in 300 mana (or 1 frost and just shoot xD) if u r worried about money buy $10 in gold which is 1.5m+ and u will b set for a long time. btw im pure :) 98 dex (with +s) at level 24 and i have about 600 mana anad 700 hp

    Edit: Monsters hit around 130 on me tho :P. so if needed (+life or defence) i kite :)

    and btw the real reason why i asked this is cause i made an archer a while ago. ^.^ its already lvl 105 in the MY-Eng server and i was thinking maybe i need to redo my stats. currently i have 395 dex 109 str 55 vit and 19 mag
