can't turn in lv 41 dragon quest

I have finshed everything on the quest line ( killed the mob Mystical Wolfkin ) and when I went to turn in the quest I get this message that says " Mission already taken cannot complete quest", why has this happened and can it be fixed with out my dropping the whole quest line and hoping it wont happen again? I takes like an hour to do this quest I sure hope I don't have to trash it and worry that I wont be able to finsh it again.

    Did you get the dragon order from the quest already? I've never had a problem with this quest. I'm not sure what's going on unless you've turned it in and it continued with the next one already.

    It didn't let me turn it in, and you can do these quests over again much like crazy stone
