how to zhen with archer?

can someone explain to me step by step of how to zhen with arrow barrage with archer? i know that i must kill someone in a dual to activate the glitch for arrow barrage? and im not suuppose to move anywhere or use any other skill once the glitch is activated? but somehow after i did the glitch and i dint move anywhere or do anything.. when i tried to click on the monster.. to use my arrow barrage.. it still require CHI.. can someone tell me what did i do wrong?

i remmber after i activated the glitch.. someone try to trade me something.. not sure if that has anything to do with it...

and after activating the glitch.. it wouldnt require me to use CHI everytime to do arrow barrage right?

    You need to have a mana charm, and you need to have a max MP that is sufficient to keep your barrage active. If your maximum MP is too small, your mana can hit 0 in between charm ticks, and the spell will stop.

    You don't need to switch target to the monsters, your target will remain the player you targetted. You only use barrage once, so the sparks is a 1-time only... you activate it on the player, and it remains on the player, the mobs are hit when entering the spell's area of effect.

    I dont think you can trade, and make sure you don't hit your ESC key ^^

    so yes..
    1. Ensure a MP charm is equipped
    2. Initiate a duel with a player in your squad (a wizard or cleric, not a lurer)
    3. Cast Barrage on that player
    4. Win the duel before the barrage wears off (your charm can't tick in duels)
    5. Order a pizza, watch a movie, etc
    Meek with words, abrupt with arrows.

    once the glitch is activated... do it still require CHi to activated barrage of arrow again? dont know why it wont let me use barrage of arrow again and it require chi..

    and is the charm mandatory? can i use other mana potion as long as the mana can keep going?

    Its only the one activation of the spell... after that, the drain and the damage is continuous... theres no start/stop. You zhen for 1+ hours... but you only activate the spell once at the start.

    IDK if you can do it with mana potions, im not sure if they restore quickly enough... mana potions are definately a lot more expensive than charms for this purpose (continuous drain for 1+ hours). You can use potions while barrage is active... other than that, i dont know the practicalities of it.

    Unless you have the recent event MP foods, and even with them, keeping barrage active for any amount of time is a massive labour. I tried it once in zhen when my charm died with 2 mins left on scroll. The MP foods from the event even then only lasted until I had 15 seconds left xD

    So yes, I would say if you want an easy life, MP charm is mandatory xD

    Just make sure you leave your barrage at level 1, otherwise you will not have enough of a mana pool for it to stay active even with the charm. My barrage is level 4 and I have had to buy +mp equips to use in zhen xD

    I think the secret you're missing is this:

    After the duel, where you killed someone (usually the cleric) with Barrage of Arrows, the Barrage keeps going. Don't stop it. Since you aren't in duel any more, you shouldn't dmg the cleric or any other party members, but any mobs that come near get hit by that Barrage of Arrows that you started on the Cleric.

    Barrage of Arrows is like Blue Ball in that it can go continuously as long as you have the MP to fuel it. That single continuous Barrage of Arrows should be the only thing your archer does the entire hour. The 'glitch' that requires only one spark is that the Barrage you cast on the cleric keeps going after the duel (since you don't really kill people in duels), so you only need to cast it once.
