Hello.

I just trained my veno to lvl 15 without spending any of my points. Why? I've had too many regrettable mistakes in games when it comes to putting attr. points in the right place.

I'm planning on the 'robes build', I want to farcast and let my little pet take the damage.

I've google'd, asked people, and searched the forums so don't hint me on that.

But I want to be sure, I want to be 100% sure before I make regrettable mistakes again.

The build they say on forums:

STR = (Your level + 8) / 2
MAG = (At least Your level x 3)
VIT = (Remaining points)
AGI = 3

So for a lvl 15 that'd be, 11 STR, 45 MAG, VIT ---, AGI ???

It doesn't sound logical in my ears. What do you need VIT and AGI for, when you're farcasting and hardly taking any damage?

Plus, what do they mean by AGI '3', put 3 in AGI every lvl up?

And, other veno's have told me to put everything in MAG...

While another google link said ''put 1 point in STR and 9 points in MAG every 2 lvl's''

    Alright I'll use this one for answering then.

    Aw, I did know I was on a PvP server but because my friend was on here I chose this one. What I didn't know was that you could get attacked by everyone who wants, even though I should have know that. Thanks for that, and all your other answers too. Made my view a bit more clear.

    Odd method for posting a question, but I'll bite....

    I have a feeling you don't know you're on a pvp server. After level 30 you are fair game to anyone that feels like attacking you, so your idea of letting the pet take all the hits pretty much goes out the window. If you have no interest in pvp then it's not too late to reroll to a pve server.

    For a robe build, add 1 point of strength every even level and put the rest in magic. You can optionally add some vitality for a little more durability, but it's not really needed until higher levels in my experience so far. If you choose to add vit just make sure you add at least 3 magic per level.

    Your problem is that there's many possible builds for a robe veno. If you read so many posts, you should know that.
    You also should know what the stats add for a venomancer :
    VIT : +HP, +HP regen (+Mdef, +Pdef also)
    MAG : +Matk, +MaxMana, +RegenMana (+Mdef also)
    DEX : +Crit (hirate doesn't count for magical attacks)
    STR : nothing... (+Pdef also)

    To wear the last weapon and the last armour for your level you need :
    MAG = +3 by lvl
    STR = +0,5 by level (one every other level, obviously)

    Now it depends on what you want.

    If you want a high attack, put every points left in MAG. You'll be squish, but as long as your pet takes the damage, this is not a problem. But you may have problem with not taking aggro (end-game). Not recomended for PVP.

    If you want a very high survivability, put everything left into VIT. You'll have les Matk, and you'll heal your pet for less. But you may survive in PVP.

    If you want something else, well... Do as you feel, knowing what every stat add.
    Do not rely on crits for dps, and do not add strength more than equipement requirement.

    The 3 in AGI is obtained by restating, using a scroll from cash shop. 5 is fine, two points won't make a huge difference.

    Everything I wrote here, you can find it on other posts. But you seemed so desperate... (are you a housewife?)

    Yeah ~45 str will let you have enough for robes up till your 80s.
    I prefer having vit for better pvp/durability when leveling as sometimes mobs sneak up on me (i love how people just assume pets are going to be the only things getting hit ever, its so asinine -.-;)

    Dont follow the "comprehensive" veno guide, its fairly confusing :\. It uses malaysian terms and this isnt MY pw.

    alternate 1 str every even level or just get 1 str for your first few levels till its 45. Up to you when you wanna get it over with :P.

    Agi isnt even a freakin stat in PW, its actually DEX, and you dont need any, and its not possible to have 3 DEX just starting out because all stats start at 5.

    as for vit, you get 13 point of HP per vit, to me the more the better :P. in my higher levels i do 3 mag 2 vit, and hope eventually to have 5k hp/ 7k MP

    Yeah but everything he just said was true.... b:chuckle

    I had to read through that guide at least 10 times before it remotely made sense to me. x]

    What I do with my stats is,
    Str- Enough to wear armor for your level.
    Mag- All the rest
    Dex- None. (5)
    Vit- The same as your level

    everyone's build is diffrent (unless you follow guides perfectly) and each person tweaks their own build.
    for me, i did 1 vit every other level (until i got to 30 vit...now i'm not adding anymore at all)
    1 str every other level (until 30ish, then you gotta check stat req's for armour, it'll slow down after about 30 str)
    and then all the rest of my points have been in mag, to help with both my damage output and my pet heals...


    you just have to figure out what works best for you, and whether you want to sacrafice damage output for survivability,,,etc
    also, dex is pretty worthless on a robes veno. when it says 3, it meant that you can take out points from it and put into other places, should you want to spend $ on a reset note. (b/c 3 is the absolute minimum)

    Dont put any in dex.

    Strength enough to wear robes and...
    Vitality or Intelligence are your options for the extra stats.


    taking PVE into mind

    pure int build will give alot of attack but you will steal agro from your pet almost every time. that means you will probably get hit more unless you can kill it before it gets to you, which is what im starting to notice around 58 now. also gives ALOT more mana and some more mana regen ratio.

    the extra in vit will increase your survivability ofc (which is silly because your pet should hold the agro now), but more importantly increase your hp regen ratio. (instead of 1hp/s which takes like 30minutes to heal) yeah vit gives more hp to heal, so you would expect it to heal slower, but in-fact it heals alot faster. with soul transfusion, that in turn gives more mana spamming ability.

    a mixture of both is probably what your looking for.

    I changed to a PvE world now, and I got my old lvl back.
    I read trough all your post and and thanks allot for helping b:thanks
    I'm going to put 3 in mag every lvl, 1 in str ever other lvl and i'll raise hp to 30! I hope it's a smart build, ty everyone.
