Trouble logging in

I've been having trouble since last night when logging into the game. The launcher comes up fine, and I click on Start, but once I enter my username and password, a message comes up that says "Unable to connect to server." I click the confirm button on this error message and it sometimes let me into the game, but everything is moving at three times the speed. I can move for about five seconds and then it takes me back to where I started from. My son is able to play on his laptop without any problems. The only difference between the two computers is he is running XP and I am running Vista, but I have been running the game on Vista for a few months now without any trouble. I've tried reinstalling the game and updated after the reinstall, but it's still doing the same thing. Someone HELP!!!!!!!!!b:cry

Thank you for your reply. I tried the solution that you suggested but there was one little problem. When I right clicked on the elementclient.exe process, there was no "Set Affinity" option. There was a set priority option, and it was set to normal, but I don't think this is the same thing that was mentioned in the solution. Any other suggestions?
I suppose I should qualify this post and my first one with the fact that I have been able to connect twice now, once last night and once earlier this morning. But this was only after starting and exiting the game several times due to the afore mentioned problem.0 -
Ok..I posted my last reply back at the beginning of the month and I'm still having the same issue. I have tried the advice that was given, even put in a support ticket (and got the same advice), but none of this has helped. In fact, it has only gotten worse. I understand that the GM's and Admin's have other responsibilities, but this is a little ridiculous. I know I can't be the only person having this issue as well. Someone please give some advice that works?0

The email address attached to your user name does not come up in the ticketing system. Where/when did you send it to Tech Support?
