I want to know what do you feel is more important in raising first..
.. pet skills or getting yr own skills first..
i am thinking atm to put all my moneys into raising the pet skills since they are the ones that are fighting for me..and a lot of my own skills are decent.. eventaully as i get higher im gonna want to raise them but im thinking that pet skills shold be higher since the levels are more difficult.. im curious as to how you determine where you want your money to go into yr skills..

thanks.b:bye

I usually only level the main aggro holding skill for the pet since the venomancer does most of the damage, and keeping her skills leveled will push her damage higher which kills the mob faster. Leveling a pet's damage skill slightly improves the pet's DD ability, but, more importantly, improves their ability to hold aggro.

    So...

Main veno skills are my primary concern, and then, if necessary, pet skills.ac

Other than bash (to hold aggro), no pet skills should take priority over your own skills. Pet is there for tanking. It won't outdamage the veno anyway.b:victory

I wouldn't say that, the phoenix does godly damage...

Update own first though, just upgrade pets to hold aggro, unless your pet is out damaging you right now, in which case upgrade pets I'd say.

Your own skills should certainly come first, although some pet skills (Howl, Tough) you may find yourself using more frequently than even common veno skills (Purge, Blazing Scarab). If this is the case it's not a bad idea to upgrade the pet skills first as they will more directly impact your char's eficiency, although some stapples (Ironwood Scarab, Pet Heal) should always be made a priority.
