Auction House Bug?

I recently listed an item for sale with a min bid of 775000 and maximum of 800000 when the item sold however I only received 736000. Whats is going on here? I've this happen a couple of times now where the final sale price is less than the minimum listed bid.

    A percentage of the amount you get is taken by the auction house. It happens whenever a sale is successful. It's not a bug, but it' annoying when it's an expensive item and the difference is 100k or more.

    The amount taken from the sale price is dependant on the duration of the auction.

    It is not a bug. The AH takes 5% of the total sale price for taxes. The tax is 5%.

    Example: You sell an item for 100k, and someone buys it for 100k. Then, you receive 95k due to the 5% tax.

    So the house takes a % an addition to the up front auction fee? what a rip-off, makes me want to stop using it :( its not like the house has any use for in-game gold.
