Thought on wizard skills

I SERIUOSLY think we for one need way more skills, we're wizards, supposedly more in tune with the elements right?, for one why don't most of our high level spells have burn effect? you'd think getting struck by BladeTempest(if they live) would leave some nasty effects. And our earth spells, yeah they're strong but they couldn't have done better? We should have more earth and fire spells in my opinion, theres so much more a wizard could do with them. The thing that really bugs me is frost blade, thats it?, no fire blade, earthen blade?

Whats your comments on this?

    Actually they could remove 4 skills:
    1) Crown of Flame (completely useless)
    2) Pitfall (same as above)
    3) Emberstorm (even worse than completely useless)
    4) Frostblade (since when was I melee????)

    Make modifications to 2 skills:
    1) Add a slight burn effect to Pyrogram or Divine Pyrogram
    2) Add a 10% chance to stun for 2 seconds to Stone Rain

    Add 2 skills
    1) Mana Shield
    2) Magic Attack Self Buff


    An alternative would be to:
    Double the damage of Crown of Flame and Pitfall, Reduce the damage dealt to self by Emberstorm by 75% (I mean wtf, like we have high HP anyway!!!), change FrostBlade to ConjurersBolt (matk self buff), AND add Mana Shield.

    Pitfall is not useless.
    Emberstorm is definitely not useless in its demon form.
    Mana shield would be nice, but other classes will call OP for sure.
    Magic attack self buff I definitely agree with.
    A mage should definitely have the "concentration" to raise their own magic attack.

    Other classes are bragging about pwning wizzards, now if our class would be made competitive enough to be played well by medium skilled players would that make it OP? b:angry

    Pitfall is not useless.

    Sorry, the emberstorm thing. 88 levels of garbage then pick Demon, then a 50% stun. Lot to go through to make a spell useful.

    Can't really see the mana shield as that over powered...plume shell...hood...Just cap X% or X dmg reduction etc like the other two.

    or just make the damn shields stack. Pdef, fire def + hp and water+mp -> all at the same time = no more pots for grind. Kinda' like venos...

    i also think they could add some secondary effects to wizard spells, but add more spells? hell no!
    then they will or invent completely useless skills or you won't have enough spirit to get a good wiz. now the skills are good in that way. just look at blademaster, archer or veno/barb (don't know fore sure for the last two) half of their skills are meant to throw away...

    honestly people everyone crys and complains about stupid spirit to be completely honest, I have NEVER run out of spirit and im going completely strong as a level 59 wizard, I have 378370spirit right now. lol yeah money is a pain to get my dirty hands on :P but still.

    And yeah more skills would be awsome i was thinking of 1 earth spell this afternoon, instead of the lame 'rock falls from sky OMG!" attacks, i mean really, earth falling from the sky? i know its a game but seriously, I was thinking of a spell "Rock tomb" spikes of rock pierce the enemy from up under the ground giving a freeze affect while we **** away with gush, an amazing fire one i was thinking of would be "volcano" (or something im not great with names) where you cast a earth spike dealing physical damage under an enemy then have it spit fire out onto other monsters, aoe, kinda stupid but you know it'd be fun to use :D

    spirit is not the problem... its the coins lol. We've got enough skills.. although that stupid earth ult looks **** after the channeling. I wouldn't mind a stun tho :)

    Yeah they should've made where you move the earth like an earthquake and drop them in it

    yea that would be called a fissure. MS should look like a gigantic avalanch of rocks and boulders fall all of the mobs

    I always thought of earth spells more like Grave from Tales of Symphonia.


    And lol, if you have a lot of spirit it simply means you're too poor.
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

    well, u can have 300k spirit at 59 if u didn't take ur ultimates.
    those are like ~70k a piece, so yeah....kinda' hard for me to believe. Unles u maxed only 2-3 spells and totally ignored the rest. That ain't bad, but I like being diverse, using a lot of elements, I could not stand gaming with only 3 skills

    Er yeah I got BT and BID, my best skills are DP the 3 basic spells, and GS if you consider lvl 2 good XD all the others are just ok

    Ah more skills :)

    Fixing the Will of the Phoenix would make me a lot happier already. When I see my char moving towards the mob to attack I'm sick. Some people love that skill and I really don't like it because of that detail. Sure I use it and I don't complain in case of melee mobs, but for magical ones... grr... Why does it even require target at all. It Could very well work regardless if there is a target or not. If there is one if should blow in it's direction otherwise forward. What's in range gets affected.

    But on topic. Wizard in MMO will probably never be much more than a char with ranged attacks with fancy animations. (And archers differ by not having fancy animations and damage affected by different stats). Distance shrink, will of the phoenix and force of will make wizards here quite interesting already. To have a real wizards one would have to find some game where only wizards are playable. Otherwise any attempt to satisfy players playing wizards is doomed to break so called balance :).

    what i think we definitly need stun
    would be nice to exchange pitfall or crown of fire for
    low dmg skill with stun for 5 sec and like 1 sec chaneling and 0,5 sec casting
    so far bms are killing us with no problems
    wizzes are not realy bad against mobs but in pvp we are useless
    veno with phenix will kill us in 3 hits
    bm stun us so we cant cast anything
    clerics use phi spell and heal <no coments>
    barbs have to much hp to kill them quick
    archers .......phi class <no coments>

    would be nice to have skill which one makes us unable for stuns for like 10-15 secb:dirty

    You get a skill like that, it's called "Apothecary". I suggest you max it out.

    And who dies to BMs and Clerics? It sounds like you're dueling a lot. TW instead please.
