In the low low levels say 1x-3x what is the best equipment for a cleric to use, specifically a full attack cleric rather than a support cleric. I hear they use pretty much the same items, but I'm so new to the game I know neither. Thanks.

I'd imagine a full attack cleric would do best in Light Armor, with phys def ornaments, and magic attack rings.

However, I play a full support cleric, so...yeah. I could be very wrong. Try going to the cleric forums - they'll have the best information.

Currently I think the best bet is full MAG almost the entire build till endgame. The entire time as far as best armor goes would be arcane IMO. All other equipment that adds to your stats or hp and mp would need to be split between two different types for each slot: One for highest survivability possibility and another for highest attack possibility. At least this is all I'm gathering from what I've read so far. I also think that being the best as far as a cleric goes would be to level all of your heals and buffs around endgame time...but only then.b:shocked

While I'd agree with you that light armour would be great for a full attack cleric (as they have low defense), The very idea contradicts itself.

A full attack cleric distributes 1 point of STR every two levels (requirement for arcane armour), and dumps the rest into MAG. The requirements for light armour would require DEX and more STR, which results in a deviation from the very build itself. If you added that much STR and DEX to wear the armour, you would no longer be a full attack cleric. b:surrender

Right now, as a full attack cleric, your best bet is:

-9 MAG and 1 STR every 2 levels
    -Wear highest possible arcane armour
-Equip whichever weapon has the highest magic attack
-Go for equipment that has +HP or +VIT

Good luck and happy gaming! b:victory
