also what does it mean by Grade 1, Grade 2 ect...

    You will need Mirage Celestones, 1 for armor/ornaments and 2 for weapons. If you want to guarantee success you will also need Dragon Orbs. These come in different grades, 1*, 2*, 3* etc. This basically means that you can refine up to that + with 100% success, ie to go from +3 to +4 you will need a 4* Orb. Talk to any Elder to refine.

    lol I wasn't quite sure. :P I'm yet to do it for the first time and read in some other thread that we need mirage stones and those orby things like Daerys said.

    You need mirage celestones, but seeing as how you are only level 17, I would STRONGLY suggest that you wait until later levels to refine your equipment.
