Demon Roar Vs Immune?

Hey guys, i dont know if this question can be answered or not, BUT does the demon roar succeed even if the other person has immune to movement stuff(like pots and skills and etc)? It says on ecatomb the roar ALWAYS SUCCEEDS. But then that contradicts the fact of immune?

    I'm pretty sure it means that the chance to stun becomes 100% but given that someone is immune to movement debuffs then the stun won't land.
