which would win?

Pros of each:
Barb = if up close, archer damage becomes ****, especially since u r a tank
Archer = high evasiveness coupled with barb's low acc. will kill u
One corn to rule them all and in the darkness cream them

    gear pretty decides whose better

    but lvl 1-60 -mayb 70 =archer

    71+ its leans with barb depends on the crits a archer gets/zerk from barb/

    met a lvl 70 barb today with 3k hp human formb:chuckle

    comes down to luck and misses =/ if ur unlucky all ur hits will miss if not gg archer...thts y i carry acc pots now ^^

    well i have both a barb and an archer so tbh i really dont know but would liek to see a pvp and see who wins. i mean they both got awsome skills but i guess it also dep on the bild and all

    eh it depends on gears.. apoth pots.. charms.. all the sorta stuff.. a barb can beat an archer with a few lucky crits.. (or with berzerk weapon) .. an archer can beat a barb with those dang metal attacks if they crit

    most of my fights with archers have ended in stalemates.. just charm burn.. but i wasn't using the 5k acc apoth pot.. or a zerk weapon.. so if you have the right setup you can take out an archer.. if you don't.. you can be taken out

    Yea, I have a friend who is an archer the same level as me, and when we dueled I won just because I kept close to him, and although he used the lightning skills, he just couldn't get my hp down fast enough before my tiny hits eventually took him down :P

    of course, this is only at lvl 45 (was actually 43 at the time >_<) and I know archers and barbs both get better skills later on... but just wanted to say b:victory

    Tbh if you die to a same level archer and you're 70+ I'd suggest looking very deep and hard into your build and equips.

    I personally prefer acc pots over Bloodbath 30 seconds is more than adequate time to drop a same lvl archer.

    If you have a better suggestion than +200~ atk, +10-12 VIT, and +100% base acc for barb rings, I'm listening.

    I'll never personally own Mistys (20+ mil for a few rings? naw, I'll stick with Rage of Crixalis lol), but how are they in any way a laughable equip for a barb? They're insane.

    When i pvp against an archer i use both the accuracy pots and the bloodbath sure i lose that little hp but remember an archer may have an insane crit but archers my lvl only hit me for 200 hp where as i can hit the for 1000 hp or more and thats with normal hits then again i am a dps barb. I am just saying its all on the build and about startegy. You have to figure out how to make up for the bad accuracy i found mine if anyones found something better i would love to hear it.b:victory

    Misty's are great, but you gotta remember that bloodbath doesn't work with them (or any other +%acc rings). A 100% acc bonus isnt that great since your base accuracy is **** (especially if your a tank build). I drool at the other bonuses on mistys the though.

    Base accuracy =x, with mistys x+0.5x+0.5x=2x, with BB =2x+x+0.5x+0.5x = 4x

    Id rather have two good +acc rings with a maxed bloodbath while facing an archer. The rings may add a good% of your base acc anyways and then bloodbath adds to all of that.

    My current set of rings gives me a +acc bonus thats almost 50% of my base acc. An when I BB it adds 200% to all of that.

    Base accuracy =x, with my 2 rings x+0.5x =1.5x, with BB = 2(1.5x) +1.5x = 4.5x

    Difference is even greater if you had a demon bloodbath.

    I like tanking and all but i grow tired of taking the hits for others. I want to smash someones teeth in for once so i am going demon others may like the added def but i want that crit and that attack.

    I agree with almost all of this.

    My case in point for MF rings being terrible for wbs is this
    My acc with two Misty Forest on is 2497
    With My regular rings I wear and BB = 3217

    HUGE diff. Nuff said tbh

    i'd rather have 1 or 2 misty and carry a 5k acc pot .. the accuracy from blood bath is nice and all but i hate sacrificing health for it

    also destro.. whats your acc with 2 misty and BB ? (unless that was with BB)

    for a wb .. depending on your build.. i think a misty/tt90 gold ring mix is a good set.. unless you are pure pve tank and want to go for like +10 vit rings.. which you'd have to spend a while trying to craft

    I still have 10k hp with bb on so I don't feel squishy. If you're using an accuracy pot why do you even need MF rings? I mean They don't stack and 5k is more than enough to hit every archer on any server.

    cause i like the misty bonus while grinding/tanking... alacrity misses less for canceling boss spells ..

    and you have 10k hp with BB on in humanoid form? dang you must have some nice gear

    Fair enough, I don't pve tank. That's not baller to me.

    My gear is all +4 and 5 with 4 sockets and G6 hp gems. Oh and some hh80 gold doesn't hurt either....

    yea .. but i'm a barb on a pve server.. so tanking is most of what i do haha

    i wish i had your gear.. i'm sitting on the crappy 77/79 molders.. saving to refine/immac shard my tt90
