Petbag help

I broke down & got a petbag cage fron the Boutique (for 1 slot) but I can't find anyone to take it (been to pet skills trainer, pet manager, veno skills & banker). It says go to pet skills trainer & she tells me to get lost! :)

Help please...

    Try the "inventory master" next to the banker. I think that's the npc for that type of thing.

    It's the pet skills trainer. Might have to be the one in the City of the Lost.

    If you currently have a food item quest to expand your pet bag (hay, fruit, fungus), you have to trash it first. It and the cage quest are mutually exclusive - having one will prevent you from seeing the other. Using a cage to complete this step of the pet bag expansion will prevent you from ever getting that food quest again.

    Check the quest options you need quest to trade the item for more pet bag space.

    They were good ideas but didn't work. I'm not on a quest, just trying to use the cage for an extra space.
    You can keep throwing those ideas at me, I appreciate all I can get! :))

    That's what we're saying. Take it to the pet skill trainer, and choose the quest option. She will offer you a quest to expand your pet bag by giving her food items (if you don't already have at least 5 pet slots) or by giving her a cage.

    Select the cage quest. Then double-click her and select the quest option again. Complete the quest, your cage will disappear, and your pet bag will expand by one slot.

    Tried that but she wants a super cage & all I have is a single slot from the boutique. I selected the quest & tried to complete it but she doesn't see it (I'm in Lost, & tried it in Broken Bridge).
    Did I get screwed buying this cage?

    the solution is simple - works for bank and inventory quests also

    1. check quest log that you dont have a quest to collect materials (eg. 20 hay)

    2. you probably do :D - so trash it and any other pet inventory quests you might have

    3. go to pet manager and choose quest to enlarge pet bag and choose Iget cage

    4. click pet manager again - quests - choose I have a cage (make sure you are carrying it :p)

    5. well done you now have room for 1 pet

    1. Checked quest log; there are NO quests for pet inventory.
    2. dumped all quests for the hell of it.
    3. The pet manager offers me the quests for Phoenix Fathers or Source of Power (that is ALL).
    4. I have a cage in my inventory!
    5. Decided to go to the Pet Skills Trainer & she had the quest & took my cage!

    As you see I'm no veno so pet manager / pet skills trainer i thought were the same - But I think I helped :D
