Help with attributes

I am building a sword/blade blademaster. I haven't spent any points on magic so far (i'm level 19) and I am frustrated by how quickly I run out of mana. I run out after 3 fights. How many points should I spend on magic?

I'm a 29 and I still have 5 magic. From what I understand, you shouldn't put any points into magic as a sword/blade build. If you are frustrated from running out of mana get potions, or learn the apothecary skill and get that powder that increases mana regeneration, i think it's called focus powder, but not sure.

Dont ever spend a single attribute on mag.

a word of caution for you. Swords require more effort from your part than Axes. Consider sword a better weapon if you want, but you have to worthy of itb:laugh

Also as you level up consider using different weapons for the effect of the skills rather than the damage.

Most players use Axes.

You kill mobs by using normal attack, skills are complementary and for situations.

I rely much more on skills than regular attacks. Does this mean I should switch to axes? or maybe fists? I prefer single target.

I know what it is. We all go through that too

You will need to learn how to play your character to avoid that.

Axes is the safest bid. However, you will still need to learn how to play axes.
