Leveling wings?

So I got rank 5 of the wings because I don't plan on cash-shopping wings anytime soon.

Is this a bad idea?

It's only 15k spirit or so, which isn't a huge dent, but what do you guys think?

    well depends at level 30 you get some wings that are statistically better than your white wings but unfortunately are ugly as hell, i personally have levelled my flying so that i can efficiently (speedwise) use my white wings for all eternity. So ultimately its personal choice neither good nor bad.

    Thats absolutely fine if you don't plan on getting CS wings for a long time... you could even max the ability. Shop for items with +mana regen so that you dont have to keep chugging potions. You do get eagle wings at 30, which have no drain -- but as they are unaffected by Flight Mastery, the white wings can potentially be faster.

    Yes the spirit needed is not that substantial at all so it's up to you if you level them or not.
    Personally i wouldn't bother, because :
    1. At some point I will probably buy catshop wings too
    2. Keeping the original wings requires 2MP/sec when flying, which you won't find to cute when grinding aerial mobs and you will need to use pots and meditate a lot. That is why I use the level 30 wings --> No MP required. (they aren't that esthetically pleasing but efficient)

    But, like Annor's guide goes : it's all coming down on what you want to choose!

    Doesn't hurt to keep both wings... can always switch to the eagle for fighting ;). You'll usually find yourself doing a lot more travelling than fighting in the air though.

    That was my exact point, and a perfect answer. (So were the other answers)

    I don't find myself buying cash-shop wings for this char, so I figured why not level them fully when I have the sp/cash to spare, and have 2.0 wings.

    So if it's not that big of a deal, I'm going to go ahead and do it.

    I carry both with me.. although, I spend most of my grinding time in the air. b:victory
