Ok so looking at the stats i prefer the look of the Solarslayer, waiting one extra level to get it is neither here nor there. I would ultimately prefer a bow but i cant find a comparable one at the same level-ish.

Its obvious enough to me where to get the mats for the Swiftwind, but what i want to know is what is the best way to obtain the Solarslayer, PWI database mentioned Mysterious Chips, but i cant seem to follow the database well enough to understand where i obtain them from, the chances of the mold dropping are well slim at best. It seems to suggest that 20 chips and 900k and ill have the mold im after?

So am i reading that right, where can i get the chips from? Is there a comparable Bow around the same level?

    Hypothetically speaking, you can get mysterious chips from the cube of fate.

    Personally... I burned through my dice tickets without getting close...

    Solarslayer looks a bit better regarding stats (especially that cute +HP), but you will need Swiftwind (TT60) in order to get your TT70 weapon. So why bother striving for Solar that you won't use it in a few level-ups anyway, when you can just stick to Swiftwind which will be useful later on too ?!

    Aahh you see cause later on i will switch to the Unicorn and follow the Bow path.

    So any ideas on the best (re easiest/cheapest) way to get a solarslayer or mold? Chips plus 900k if steep, but then again i saw one that was plus 4 for 4.5 mill in the AH yesterday and 4.5 mill is also steep but seemingly good value given the plus 4.

    Unless you plan on getting gold HH80 (which is INCREDIBLY hard to get), I would suggest that you don't follow the bow path. IMO, the solarslayer isn't really all that necessary at that level. 60-70 is about 1-2 weeks easy if you grind every day.

    if you are that interested, try buying the mold separately and the mats. Paying 2mil for that wep is not worth it at all when thinking of the TT60 alternative... 4 mil or more -> that would be insane. Anyway i saw the mold at AH going from 900k to 1.4 mil. If you add all the mats (let's say that you don't have any, and need to buy them all) you will add another 300k. In total : 1.2mil-1.7mil. A little more reasonable than the 2mil-4.5mil variations of the ready made weapon !!!

    Personally, I gave up the thought of having Solar, unless the mold drops on my FB51!
