i am just starting out and i am not sure which server i should play. I am not sure how often you get pk'd in a pvp server at 30+, or if pve servers are really boring. Which server should i join?

I used to be on a PVE server (HeavensTear) and then I swapped to a PVP server (Harshlands) , I thought it would be random pk non stop but actually i get pk'ed very little. Although some guilds that are enemies are KoS (kill on sight) with each other. I am enjoying the pvp server more, because if u get bored of lvling you can just go and try get ur name red :P and obviously if ur a fast lvl u will be rlly good at pvp.
While on pve servers if u choose to go into pvp you are almost certinly going to get killed. I enjoy the pvp server more because you get rewared for your lvling by being able to kill and being better than a lot of players in the server. While in pve you do not have as much to show for.0 -
PvP, because that's where all the cool people and trash talkers go.. More excitement!Position: Professional Forum Troll
Position Details: Be able to incite people to flames and perform miracles such as telling people what's right and what's wrong. Be able to dish out flames to other people so fire extinguishers are needed to put out the flames. Most of all, giving others a piece of reality.

You should also consider things like wraith events and other in game events. On a PVE server high levels can come and 1shot all the mobs leaving the lower levels empty handed and missing out with no way of retaliation. On a Pvp server there is the threat of some1 actually fighting back. Maybe not a low level trying to take on a high level but say u have some big friends ;-) makes the game much more interesting and harder for people to get taken advantage of. If ur worried about losing drops from ur inv, then either buy guardian angels or dont pk. If ur name isnt red its next to impossible that ull lose any gear if some1 pks you. If anything its just mildly irritating. And usually theyre are just working on their pk ranking ;-)0

I have actually a concrete question.
Whats the difference between PVP and PVE servers?
At PVE can't get pked? or you can't drop any equipment?
At PVP can pvp mode get turned off as said in the game's project?
Thx in advance

HI Bx,
To answer abit :
At PVE server, you have an option to go PK mode or turn it off. And you can still drop items in your inventory or equipment when you die in PK Mode. Unless you have Guardian Angel in your inventory.
At PVP, I think the PK mode can't be turned off. It starts when you are lvl 30+. So, prepare many GA or stay far from high lvls with red names.
