Disconneted from server after putting up shop..

does anyone have this problem? Im behind a wireless from a friend we share a router, is that the problem? it doesnt happen all the time but most of the time. I can barely make any money because the moment I set up shop and stop playing, 5 mins later i get disc. from server. Its like this game doesn't want me to make money the easy way by selling stuff but the hard way by grinding. anyone have same problem?

    Wireless is still much more unreliable than the traditional cabled medium. It's much more prone to interruptions, interference and distance as well as obstructions (think walls, large metalic panels or such, etc) is also a major issue. The newer the technology, the better the signal integrity though.

    Is your wireless router/switch/AP and/or your wireless adaptor old by any chance? Or just far away from each other or have a lot of interference/obstructions?

    On the other hand if it literally is every 5 minutes, could there be a firewall or other program that can cut you off after 5 minutes of being idle/no user input? If so changing their settings or turning them off would help.

    yes i do run firewall while playing this game, ill check on that maybe it does turn off while idle, hopefully there is a setting that can change that, i run windows vistas home prem. its not far the router just aprrox 15 ft. away. and there really isn't any obstruction. thing is when i just put myself in fly mode and linger at a spot i rarely get disc. its just only when i set up shop. I can even alt+tab and surf the web while on fly mode.

    I understand this game is based entirely on in game coins and if there system was designed to make money easily then no one would buy any zhen, i mean whats the point? you can just buy everything in game from other players, but then again if it was easy to make money then no one will have anything to sell haha, sorry for changing the subject a bit, but if someone were to do the time and actually grind and craft weapons to sell and buy boutique items and resell for extra in game coins, like myself, it gets really ANNOYING when you get disc. 90% of the time when u set up shop.

    I know there is the auctioneer but its a limited time and all those auction fees can add up if no one buys from me really soon. I just feel pw does this on purpose but its just a theory I have, I cant prove it. Anyhow I will check my firewall settings but if i still get this problem i will post again till i find a solution. b:angry

    Leaving your char in crowded areas such as west archosaur can increase the memory leak rate, overwealm the connection or otherwise cause a desync with the server and can't catch up, which eventually leads to the connection lost. Turning down the graphics settings, unticking the customizations and decreasing the distance in the UI tab of your settings helps.

    i have been kicked from the game 4 times today. have no clue as to why? and it is not only my account that has been disconnet. this has only happen since the last update. i would like to know y and what can be done wot fix this problemb:sad

    The advice about having all the players near the hundreds of catshops, and not being near there, is good advice.

    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
