Ok, I have to grind a lot to level up now.

I'd like to know which mob would you recomend for getting exps and spirits between: Vampiric Nightstalker (VN), Foxwing Supreme (FS), Abyssal Thunderfin Lord (ASL)

These are the numbers as www.pwdatabase.com/pwi

Mob--- Level --- Life --- exps --- SPs
VN --- 62 --- 15343 --- 378 --- 79
FS --- 60 --- 14454 --- 366 --- 76
ASL --- 60 --- 11563 --- 350 --- 73

If I just follow who gives me more exps and sps, I should pick VN but if I compare how many exps and Spiris I get per mob lifepoints. I mean 100*exps/Life and 100*sps/life. I get this table:

Mob --- %exps/Life --- %sps/life
ASL --- 3.027
0.631
FS --- 2.532 --- -- 0.526
VN --- 2.464 --- -- 0.515

Based on this, ASL gives me the best for every life point I kill.

I might pick FS since ASL are usually in packs and too dangerous

Does this make sense at all?b:surrender

Yes it does, allthough green mobs give less exp. Your avatar shows you're 63, so you can't use both foxwings nor Thunderfin. Oh and I never choose the mob that gives the most exp, I choose the mob that has the highest chance of dropping DQ items. Check pw database for that.

Generally it's best to chose something based on a good XP/drop rate and try it out. You'll find that irrespective of the XP per kill, some are a lot harder to kill than others, because they aggro more, are closer together, whatever. You'll tend to get a feel for what you like killing more, so go with that.

Coming up soon for example you'll have Spinewraiths, which I found were really annoying because they're close enough multiple mobs often get aggro.

its pretty **** how in later stages of mmos you got to resort to tables like the one above just to get the most xp for grinding.

They should be more inventive and come up with new things we can do at later levels as well as grinding .

Ive given up on perfect world at level 30mainly cause of grinding

i'd do nightstalkers. thunderfin lord is suicide for someone in melee and heavy armor. aren't those next to the mermaids as well? maybe if you can get a cleric...

I had a cleric, and couldn't grind there.

Go to the Foxwing's outside Etherblade. They're actually good up till like.. 65, when you can go to the Minion's of Alucard's, at the Altar of Disbelief.

for lvl 60 i would suggest crabs under dreamweaver port. they are lvl 60 and drop tons of dqs, there is only 3 of them, but when u kill 3rd one then 1st spawn again and they are not in a bunch so no chance to die. and they do phys dmg only and are slow(and funny, they spin around when hit u b:laugh )

I tried FS last night and the exps worked really good, the drops not that good but I can't complaint too much on that part.

The FS are not too close to each other and I can move from 1 to next really quick. They are also quick to kill. Therefore, I need less pots and repairs.

Yeah, but as some said. I'm trading drops for exps and spirits.

I will try the other recomendations posted above and see how it goes.

For some weird reason the FS at Hidden Heroes Village are not agresive.

If two are toguether, you can attack one and the partner does not care. You can fly next to them too and they do not care.

Very different with the FS at tusk town. Still, they give the same drops, exps and spirits.

I think I will continue grinding on those for long time.

    etherblade is better

I like Lost - plenty of them there and easy to see against the "sandy" backdrop.

Which ones do you mean? :O I've never heard of those...

He's referring to Imperial Crustan Scout (661,340). There's 3 that keep respawning, are aggro, and they look like... lobsters without legs... upright, with two big pincers...

Be warned - if someone else is here, they tend to frown upon you for being there. I just got the cold-treatment from Jan_Blade just for swimming out here to see what the crab things were...

Interesting, I got bored with FS already.

    I will try

    Impreial Crustan Scout (ICS)
    Kraufis Scout

both of them give me good exps as per PW database. and the ratio of exps%/life points is not bad=2.45 a bit lower than FS (2.53) but if any of them is pure melee, I dont have to waste MP in skills. Which means more coins in my pocket.

You guys already mentioned ICS is pure melee.b:victory

    I will go there tonight.b:victory

I dont usually grind for exp. Im in no hurry to level at all so my grindin days are mostly for the value and rate of drops. I give myself a time limit or mob amount that i will kill before cashing in on the drops. My oppinion is that its better to have the coin and best upgrades that grindin can get rather than to reach a certain level fast and not have the proper gear and weapons. My general practice is to grind and work on obtaining the best gear and weapon a few levels above what you may have now. Especially with the price of gems and filling sockets at higher levels. Everybody has what works best for them and really there isnt any wrong way of doing things as long as you can proceed further at your own pace.

I though about that too and I will change mob again as I get bored killing same mob.b:victory

I will try these minions now. I see they give the best exps per life point betwen level 66-69. They give 2.26 exp/life point.

BTW, I did 2.2 million coins last weekend by grinding on Kraufis Scouts.

    They give good drops.

    Question:

is it a good idea to go TT in squad mode just to grind on the mobs except the bosses? just to get the exps.
