Blademaster or Wizard? Assistance is loved.

I started a Wizard and a Blademaster, got them halfway into the 1X's and i want to pick one to continue on. I really like both of them. Im not really going to PvP at all, mainly PvE with a friend's Wizard. (who is lower leveled than both of my characters) I like having good HP and being able to do good damage and take out monsters without having to use a bunch of charms. But i also like attacking from afar and destroying monsters before they do any harm to me. Im mainly going to choose which guy on the "Fun Factor" but i like them both. Can anyone list why one is favored more than the other or a few pros/cons that may be of some help?

    If you like a good challenge, go Wizard. They are the hardest class to level in the game.

    wizards arent hard to lvl, especially after 60, only mobs that gave little trouble below 60 are archers and they tend to run back when you get too close to them giving you more time dps it before it can do too much dmg to you.

    Never took a wizard past 12 or so, I didn't like the 'feel' and found the skill tree at early stages lacking.

    I do know at 60+ they do fairly well but below that they are a hard class to deal with from what I have heard. Not having much expereience with the class, I based my statement on things wizards have told me about the class.b:pleased

    pretty much the only thing i dont like about wizards is that their spells get interrupted, but thats only a small dislike, i can easily deal with it

    Anyway, any pros/cons on BM?

    How much are Wizards or BMs wanted for like FBs or parties?

    Wizzies arent often wanted in parties, BM can be tank for phy mobs and MG can tank magical mobs. You can get all the info your looking for by checking the class sections and looking at discussions in stickied guides

    If your looking at it in terms of fun... well theyre both fun classes to play, and theyre both DDs (damage dealers) so getting into parties later will be about equal, although maybe a bit easier for BM.

    As for difficuty, BM is a versatile class, can deal with most situations, wizard is a bit of a one trick pony, and can get hard to level at some points.

    wiz is easy to gain xp because of dmg. well... also easy to lose xp because of low hp. basically when people say the want a DD in their party they're saying if no wiz is to be found they'll squad an archer. despite their low hp wizards are awesome fire-water-earth magic tanks.

    bm is really nice to play if you don't care about charm expenses. a bm without charms is the probably the hardest class to lvl up. low vit bms are quite squishy at fb. they have great damage but clerics prefer barbs for survivability.
