Two players possibly interested in a faction

Every faction tries to get my Barbarian partner and I to join under the hackneyed pretense of being "fun" and "friendly" with interests in TW. You know, the whole faction spiel that spams up world chat.

I'm kind of sick of the rude and random requests to join factions just because my name is pristine and unblemished.
It seems that the only way to remedy the requests and whispers is to actually find a faction.
That, and from what I gather, factions help when it comes time to forming a squad for FBs or whatever.

About My Partner and I
Barbarian & Venomancer, currently in our lv30s.
We're both adults, and we only play together. Emphasis on the weekends, sometimes not at all during the week.
We're not hardcore grinders. We don't level for the sake of others. No pvp, pk, TW, whatever you want to call it. We play FPS if we want to kill other players. We're not inclined to try it, ever.
But we are active, and we do level slowly but surely--whenever time allows it.
And, even though we are low leveled and relatively new ourselves, it is always in our nature to help lower leveled players and newer players.

What We're Looking For
You tell me.
Taking what I've told you about our casual gaming style, tell me something about your guild that ISN'T a regurgitated phrase about being fun and TWing, etc.
Name a single benefit that makes your guild different from the rest.

    Hello. I am not the leader of Mayhem, but I am an Executor and all players are welcome to join us (as long as they are lvl 10+.) Our highest level player is lvl 51, most are under 30. But we are as helpful to our members as we can be with what we currently have available. I know you said you do not want to try TW, but if you would ever like to try it for fun and not for the seriousness of winning, we plan to try it in about a week. Though we know we'll lose; We don't have near enough man-power to pull this off.

    Anyways, we aren't uber serious like other factions. We like to just have fun, our only real rule is you need 1 lvl a week to just show you're active. If you cannot make this quota for the week, just let us know. If you would like to check out our forum page, which shows a little bit of how.. "different", for lack of a better word, we are.

    Thanks for replying, and actually taking the time to do so.
    Obviously, I want to wait and see what else there is, but thanks a lot. It seems like a possibility.
    And one level a week is most certainly doable. :D

    Consider Regicide...
    We do TW's but do not require it. Our guild is made up of helpful members. We are looking for other people who are willing to help us get our guild to the top. We are a very helpful guild, and friendly. We do not require you to play everyday. We just need to know that you are still coming on to play.

    I am not part of any faction or guild, I generally solo most of the time, doing quests and whatever else seems to need doing during the game. As you can see I am also a barbarian, a lower level than yourselves, but I hope to be a bit higher soon. Anyway my point is that I am much like yourselves, definitely NOT interested in any kind of pvp, TW or whatever, I'm just looking for a bunch of people to talk to you and who would be willing to help each other out whether it be general questing at times, fbs or just a general question :)

    In other words I;m really asking if you two would like to be friends, but hey, just making sure you get the gist of what I'm trying to say ;)

    Feel free to message us in-game if you need help killing those mini-boss elite monsters, FBs, stuff like that.
    Hell, maybe you'll outlevel us and we'll be asking you for help. >:D

    Just a comment...
    I've seen the 1 level/week requirement in a number of factions. Although this has been easy to do so far (I'm level 41 right now), I think it will become increasingly difficult.

    I'd like to hear from a level 80+ player if this is still a reasonable expectation, assuming you play casually and not hours a day.

    I bet at that level, donations hold more weight than actual leveling pace. o_o

    If we find a faction that is right for us, I doubt the level 1 requirement will really be in said faction. We're looking for something super laid back, and if they've got a problem, well, that's their problem. >:]

    I doubt any guild would kick you out for not having a lvl a week by this lvl. Just the fact you would get to that lvl alone shows you have been a very active player; I'm not just speaking for my guild, but most any guild with the "1 lvl a week" requirement. I think as long as you still showed up and was active with the guild members, that you would be fine.

    If you haven't found a faction yet.. try valkyrie! I run my faction as a family environment, with the intent for players to enjoy one another's companay. We do have a small vent server, hosted by one of my members which we use for casual conversation, FB runs, and w/e else anybody wants to talk about. We are trying to do TW but i'm never going to hold a requirement for that. I want people to enjoy themselves and have a network for friends for help and support. If your're interested feel free to PM Darach in game (nights EST or Weekends). Only thing I really look for is a helpful and friendly disposition. I hope to see you both in game.

    Mayhem does have a 1 level per week thing (sort of). It's more like "if we haven't heard from you in a while and you haven't leveled at all then Divine_Death will boot you" though. So if you won't be able to play for a while then just tell someone (or mail Divine) saying you won't be on for a few weeks.

    Divine's pretty laid back about everything (judging by the fact that I haven't been kicked out yet).

    Really though, just join any faction and if you don't like it then leave and try a new one (like shoes). If you feel like joining Mayhem then talk to one of the people in the list below (even if Deathsyt already has a list).

    Actually, if you want to join a faction just so people stop trying to invite you then you might want to try Guildless. Some of the people I've talked to said that's why they joined. That way you're not really required to do much but you'll still have access to help (and maybe help others) when you need it.

    If you haven't found a faction already, maybe you would consider Iksani (I am leader of this faction). I'm going to be straight forward and honest, we're relatively new and a rather small faction, but my boyfriend and I play exactly the way you and your barbarian friend do, and honestly I think that's great. Our faction probably won't have as many benefits as factions with higher levels. Me and my friend are the highest levels. But we kind of want our faction to be more like a group of friends than an organized...well organization. I would like to have our faction do Territory Wars at a later point, but maybe when it's matured more. You got me really excited when you mentioned that you don't mind helping new players, because currently our faction thrives on players new to Perfect World, and I love it to death. However some times it can feel a bit overwhelming with just my director and myself to help them.

    We have forums to stay in contact and just be social if we can't/don't feel like playing the game at the moment. But our faction flaw is our size. We're only at 12 members now and not a whole lot are talkative, so the faction chat is kind of silent. ^^;

    I'm sorry, I don't mean to ramble, if you ever want to, drop me a pm or even a friends request. I love making friends with new people. If you want to consider us drop a pm with myself, Mythais or Kitena and just mention my name. They're all really big sweeties. b:pleased
