im confused

there is a link that says "edit your avatar"
but whenever i click on it to make one, it just says "choose your avatar" but the rest of the page is blank. how do u make an avatar then?

    When you click "Edit your Avatar" it will take you too a new web page. On this webpage will be a list of your characters with their pre-assigned avatars. You do not get to upload your avatar.

    The webpage will be blank if you don't have any in-game characters. To create one you must download and install the game and then create your character.

    Once you have your character(s) and your on the "Edit your Avatar" page just click on the one you want and you can be that avatar for the forums. For the untamed classes (venomancers and barbarians) you need to click on it and then select what type of veno/barb you are.

    The most likely cause of the page being blank is because of you not having any current characters in-game.

    Take note of the fact that your avatar is a generalized picture of your character class and gender. It will also include your level. The generalized picture changes as you level up.

    Contact a mod or GM if the problem persists, but first I'd check if you have any characters or if you have a firewall/proxy blocking it.
