attack/defense lvl???

when you go into your character stats screen at the bottom left and right column the show your attack lvl and defense lvl.

I don't mean to be a noob, but what do these mean??? b:thanks

1 attack lvl gives 1% more dmg
1 defene lvl gives 1% less dmg
you gain them from these

Couldnt find any posts on here either, had to use the PW-MY forums.
Dunno how reliable it is though, was only able to find one thread on it. (or I missed a few...)

Attack lvl 1 = 1% more dmg
Defense lvl 1 = 1% decrease all harm

EDIT: oops, slow...lol
