Hi.
Lately while doing fb's. I sometimes get a speed bug.
Something white appears around me and i can run very fast for a few seconds...
No one else can see it, it's ju me....
Its manly in fb 39 and 59 it appears, don't know why..
Just wondering, if i the only one with this "bug" or what it is..?
Thanks!

Likely, it's lag. The client loses connection to the server for a few seconds, then, once it reconnects, the server transmit where it thinks you are, and the client fast-forwards you to where you were actually supposed to be. This happens in particular if you have some kind of speed-buff on you.0

So i've been told, that this is lags.
But i have "normal" lags pretty often so i know when i have one, are in one.
This is more.. like flow in it, can't really explain..0 -
I can't say that I've experienced this myself... What puzzles me is your mention of a "white light", which isn't normally present at lag and might indicate something... else.
If you experience it again, can I ask you to snatch a screenshot so we can see it in action, so to speak?
Also, it IS a cleric that you experience this on, correct? If it's a venomancer, I'd say that your hotkey for Summer Sprint was dysfunctional, but if you're a cleric... If you trail blue stripes, then it's speed powders of something, but a white light...?0 -
no, this is evil dark magic! muahahaha! actually, this is the lvl 79 archer skill elven alacrity, the white ring is caused by that, it makes 1 players speed maxed for 8 seconds and makes them immune to speed status effects. 3 minute cooldown though.
this is mainly used in fb's to speed up the cleric/mage (mostly cleric) so they can catch up and do their jobs, since they are the slowest classes, used often in fb59 to since the player must collect crystals on a different path, this way the party can attack the boss without worrying about the tabber being to slow to tab in time. (oh, and it5's very helpful for typing a response in 0.3 seconds b:laugh).0 -

i'd go for that too. When the archer speed buff is casted on you, the animation is kind of a white light around your toon. Doubt the lag would make you see light... unless you get killed while lagging b:chuckle[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

b:pleased I love my Neph b:pleased0 -
i also get a somewhat the same issue as yours
but for me, everything is plain fast, and when i try to run too far it runs then I appear back to where i started running
I think this is because of issues of some games w/ dual core processors
what I do is just go to my task manager > processes > and set the affinity for this game to use only 1 core
it works for me. not sure if its going to work on yours too though[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
