This is happening ever since I first DLed PW. Its frequently of happening is changing all the time, some time it doesn't happen @ all, some times it happens when I just get into the game, log in, just when I start playing, or whatever. The thing is, it makes me play in fear.

Anyways, my computer gets stuck, I hear the music I heard like stuck on the same second, like a BAD ERROR music, and after a while my computer auto restarts.

I DID verify PW, I DID re-install it, and I do have the last driver for my video card.

Here's my dxdiag, just for you[regular lines you're asking for]:

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 (2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.080814-1236)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 2044MB RAM

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
Display Memory: 512.0 MB
Driver Version: 6.14.0011.8122 (English)
Driver Date/Size: 1/15/2009 09:19:00, 6168960 bytes

-Any help would be good-.

Maybe your computer is overheating? Could also be some other faulty part that causes your comp to restart or a virus possibly.

    Two things here:
My comp only gets stuck while playing PW. Yesterday I made a virus check+spy check+defrag @ safe mode, and I touched mah comp, it's not hot, room temp, no AC on.
PS. For the last few patches, can't remember when, I didn't have this problem, and now it came back.

I have the same problems only I have 64bit Vista. I'm pretty sure its the NVIDIA drivers at fault. When I revert to an older driver, guess what? It stops crashing. I sent a ticket in and I hope it gets looked at soon so i can atleast start playing again. All these crashes are killing my HDD.

So you're saying that if I'll de-driver my current driver it won't happen?
Btw, in which version of the driver it worked well?

For my 9800GT card I'm using GeForce Driver Release 182.50. The one that was stable for me was Version 181.22.

Yours may be different due to your different card. Try rolling the driver back from the control panel > device manager > Display adapters > "card shown" right click and select properties then go to the driver tab and click rollback driver.

I've sent in a tech report and the responses I got did not fix the problem, most of them didn't even apply to Vista. The problem is the video driver is clashing with the game clients commands. One of 3 people needs to fix this; Microsoft, Nvidia, or PWI.b:angry

Using an older driver 7.15.11.8208 and I haven't crashed all day. Proof that the new driver clashes with the client.

It finally crashed at 6pm and at 9pm tonight. I've spent well over a week researching WTF is wrong, closest I've found is http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc727148.aspx
Microsoft hasn't come up with a fix yet. I want a friggen refund for Vista. b:angryb:angryb:angryb:angry XP was the best OS ever, I would have kept using it but this new computer came with Vista 64.
