I am a Blade Master level 9
Str: 15 (Edited this bit as I missed out the the 1 infront of the 5 to make 15)
Dex: 15
Vit: 16
Mag:6
Points Unused: 10
I started of using the Pole Axe/Hammers but after seeing how they dule Axe's
and Hammers could do the most damage Mellee wise I fell in love with them.
My role in the game is mainly to kill In-Game Monsters yet be good enough to
hold my own against any PKer's like you get in WoW some thing lot of people
can relate to b:surrender
My other quesion also is I noticed next to the NPC's that sell you Skills for
your Characters CLass type you can learn other Class type Skills.
By this I mean in the Ethral near the eastern gate where The Blade Mster
who exchanges Spirit Points for Skills, there is one for Wizards that seems
to allow you to learn Wizard skills?
Talking of which is it worth me buying a bow just for those targets that air
born above me that I wouldn't normaly be able to reach?
Or should I just wait until I hit Lv:30 and get a flying Sword to Surf with,
in order to take on the FLying Monsters?

First off, you shouldn't have anything in the air to kill until you reach 30 anyway, so please save yourself a lot of trouble and don't buy a bow and go shooting at them.
Although you shouldn't have that point in magic, the character is far from ruined. If you're going to be a dual axe BM, there are really only two paths for you to follow.
Either 3 str, 1 dex, 1 vit per level or...
3 str, 2 dex per level.
There are slight variations of this but remember you need at least 3 str and 1 dex per level to keep up with the gear appropriate to your level.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Okay so no Bow and use a fixed pattern of leveling up Str: being the one to
mainly focus on, Understood and taken on board.
Another question if I may please,
The Vit: & Mag: are Coloured Green instead of white is hat some thing I
should be worried about?
And the Wizard Skills I spke of in the first Post should I attempt to learn
any of those despite being a BM or is this just some Bug in the game?0 -
Yeah i agree with Hisuna, and your character is NOT ruined! Also my my knowledge, you cant get a wizards skills...(if im not mistaken) and you can only have your own skills. Furthermore, from now on, every time you level do NOT put any stat points into MAG as it is useless for Blademasters. I am also an axe build and i have chosen the 3 str, 1 dex, 1 vit path, and i think it works great!! i never die, and the only problem i have is mp, but that can easily be accounted for with potions. However, i always have to use HP pots when fighting mobs with magical attacks as we get owned!
The skills that are coloured green are just bonuses...for example, on one of your equipments, there will be a +1 Vit, so that gives you an extra vitality point, so there is nothing to be worried about.
And tbh i have never attempted to learn any skills from other classes.
I hope this is helpful to you.I Want To Eat Estasi & Send Her Into Extasy!! b:victory

You absolutely cannot learn the skills of another class. If you are a BM, you get BM skills, that's it.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Thank's it does and will stick to this.
Did a little correcting as it's Str:5 not Str: 5 That I am at.
Well I'll add 3 Str/ 1 Vit/ 1 Dex per level.
Though despite peoples recomendations in game I'll stick to Heavy armour
rather than Light since to me it seems better to have as much armour as
you can lay your hands on.
Maybe I'm wrong about that but at least I last a fair ol'while longer.0 -

you're a BM, you should definitely be using heavy armor. If someone told you otherwise, I'm glad you didn't listen.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

BM's have uses for light armor, these are just rare and hard to explain in a quick post. However, if you just want to ignore those rare cases and select just one armor for everything, Heavy Armor is the way to go.0

*sadly lowers head* this is rather obviously true, since the base build that I myself listed allows for the use of both light and heavy armor, and light armor has much higher magic defense than heavy armor. b:surrender[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Look, the bow thing is another tool you can use as secondary weapon lor luring (again same as LA this has its uses but are again not common)
Luring mobs out of the packs in a efficient and safe way is crucial for success as BM.
Whem melee mobs are in packs, you can lure them out of the pack by using your bow. Bows has twice range than any other of your available skills.
By using a bow you will save MP, HP since you are not taking hits or using any skills to lure them out.
If the mob you hit with your bow is connected with another mob (s) (you hit one and several will attack you back), you have 20 m between you and them to make an escape.
At the same time you can do some minor damage along the way prior facing them with your BM weapons and skills as long as you trick your stats (I have done it myself and I do between 5 to 10% with my bow).
final suggestion to keep you safe, buy the cheapes bow you can get and use it for luring melee mobs only. DO NOT LURE MAG MOBS WITH BOWS.0 -
Your stats seem to be fine, just try and use those unused points, dont use a bow, because you dont need to! until level 30 which is when you get your flying sword anyway!0

I have heard that by using light armor and fists (I think this is a poor idea) you can get a really high crit rate. Unfortunately you will be up close and personal with every mob you fight which means you will take damage. Use only heavy armor and stick with the dual axes. I unfortunately picked swords and am now regretting it severely. I may actually start to focus all my energy on getting axes.0

Hi, I'm a new bm myself and I was wondering about the stats, but you guys already cleared that up. Gj i didnt put any on mag cuz I thought that was dumb too...lol
But what you said about swords and axes....cant you just change weapons? Or are there weapon proficiencies or the like? I thought all u needed to use a wep was the requisite str/dex?0 -

I would give you the righ answer.but I'm gonna answer you like probably 95% in this forum will.
You don't need swords at all.
So, the quick answer is go "axes master" and read the guide for it.
"Axes master" is probably the best as many BM are "Axes masters" and there must be a reason for it.
Enjoy AOE on single opponents.0 -

Well, you can switch between weapons, but each weapon offers a different skill path and requires differing STR and DEX allocation. So, In general, when you hit 30, your gonna focus on one weapon, maybe at later levels working in the other weapons too.0 -

Ah thats what i wanted to know...because as far as I could see there wasnt a difference at my level besides the weps actual stats0
