It turns out that hercules are not a cash shop only pet. After months of searching, I have finally discovered their spawn spot, which is shared with golems. Take a look.

    Its a Human Symbol, I think it has something to do with the PvE Servers, The servers were you get so board from pure grinding you end up shooting yourself.

    That's the "turn on PK mode" button for the PVE servers.
