Pet Speed

Here's an interesting question. I love my magmite, but he moves a mite slow. I'm wondering if there's a way to increase his movement speed. I understand that the other magmites move (marginally) faster, but I'm not really interested in going with a different type of magmite or torgirn.

I know you can upgrade the speed of mounts with spurs, is there something similar that you can do with battle pets?

    Thanks for the quick responses! Does anyone have good suggestions for a decently strong pet that moves quickly then? I'm still a low level right now, and I'd love to raise something. I'm working with a Sable Minkii and love the speed, but its attacks are kinda weak. The wolves are decent, too, but the speed just isn't up to par with the minkii.

    Thoughts?

    if you don't want the golem

    the lvl 2 scorpion is quite good, low health, but its speed is pretty good and attacks very well

    Any idea of what the its movement speed is or where I could look to find that out?

    don't know the movement speed off the top of my head

    but i know the scorpion is near the etherblade starter area.. think its called inn of the eagle or something

    its south west of etherblade
