? About armor etc....

I'm new to this game an have seen people running through arc with lightning going around there armor...can someone give me a run down on these effect as well as others such as the glowing effect (red,blue,green).also is there a fire looking armor as well?ive seen the same armor without the lightning effect?

Or if this is to much to ask can you maybe feed me a link to go look at.Thx Ash3z b:bye

    It has to do with the type and lvl of shards that they have imbued into the armor.

    You will probably not be worrying about that till later on.

    Taken from my Beginner FAQ, stickied on Beginner's Guide:
    How does gear glow?
    -Gear glows under the following circumstances:
    The following weapons glow:
    -Three-star (purple name) : Blue glow. Obtained at lvl 20 from a quest, or rarely from weapon manufacturing.
    -Legendary (gold name) : Gold glow. Obtained by using materials and a mold (dropped from dungeon bosses) at a Legendary weapon forge in Archosaur.
    -Twilight (green name) : Green glow. Obtained by using Twilight Temple materials at a Twilight Weapon forge in Archosaur.
    -All fists

    Also, you can make armor glow by adding soulgems, here's a list:
    2 grade 5 hp stones = purple glow
    2 grade 5 phys def stones = orange/reddish glow
    2 grade 5 mag def stones = white glow
    2 grade 5 mp stones = blue glow
    2 grade 5 evasion stones = yellow glow
    2 grade 5 elemental stones = green glow
    2 grade 5 stones, not the same = sparkles
    4 grade 8 hp stones = lightning effect
    4 grade 8 mp stones = blue crystal effect
    4 grade 8 elemental stones = Strong green glow with sparkles
    4 grade 8 phys def stones = Burning fire
    4 grade 8 mag def stones = Strong white mist
    4 grade 8 evasion stones = Bigger/stronger yellow glow with sparkles.

    thx for youre fast reply...is there pics of the other affect with the 4-8 stone like the fire.this has me curious now and wanting to check more into these effect.i gotta say i liked the lightning effect on the armor i did see.

    wat it will glow mixed grade 8 gems(like hp n phy def or magic def)
    i know mix grade 5 is glitteing

    So if I had two grade 6 stones (Beautiful?), it would have the same effect as the Average stones?

    And what happens if I mixed and matched four grade 8 (Immaculate) stone?

    Also, three Immaculate stones would give which effect?

    Also, some twilight weapons may glow some other color.

    so, what happens whens you have 3 of the same type in a level 8+ armor, does it still glow like it was 2?
    (for example i have 3 average citrine shards, would it still be purple(or whatever color) or would it be different?)

    It will still glow the same as two. It would also still be the same color IF they remain the same type. If let's say it was 2 citrine's and 1 Garnet it would sparkle.
