TT70Bow or 69 Slinghshot

I'm not sure if this has been asked already but I sure didnt find any so here is my question :

I'm Lv 65 atm and plan to get rid of my TT60 xbow soon. I'm kind of confused here, Should I go for the Lv69 Wind & Clouds or a TT70 Unicorn Bow ?

How do both of these compare to each other at grinding and PVP, assuming I refine both to +4 ?

    I heard that slingshot is better at pve and crossbow is better at pvp. A bow is just in between, so if you can't buy both a slingshot and a crossbow, just get a bow. I'll choose lv69 Winds & Clouds if I was you, that channeling stuff is really sweet.

    considering u are on a PvE server, i would probably say get a wind and the clouds.

    wind and the cloud is THE best grinding weapon with such a fast attack u can usually kill most mobs with frost>hit hit hit hit dead before they even get a chance to attack u. if not, place a knockback arrow after the 3rd normal hit and they should 100% be dead before they get 2 u.

    Now for PvP...well wind and the cloud isnt the best choice sometimes. considering its a slingshot it has lower dmg in general but makes up for it with a fast attack rate. however in PvP skill spam happens more often than normal attacks negating one of the best features of Wind and the Clouds. so for PvP i would say unicorn is SLIGHTLY better, but not by much.

    overall, i would say stick with wind and the clouds unless u really plan to PvP alot. a unicorn is nice but its not that much better at PvP, if u want a PvP weapon u need the tt70xbow. i remember hearing the unicorn being called the poor man's weapon for archer just because its so cheap and not as good in either grinding as wind/cloud nor as good as tt70xbow in PvP.

    Personally I used a Unicorn for grinding as I think slingshots look ridiculous. They seem way too Dennis the Menace.

    Wow, thnx, you answered my question ^^ I think I would go with the Wind & Clouds till 80 then. I'm more into PVE so I guess Wind & Clouds is the wpn for me b:victory

    haha i agree, the slingshots do look ridiculous b:laugh but the efficiency won out over looks in the end, i do have a unicorn that i made since it only cost like...160k to make. come lvl 80 i am switching to soulsmasher though, at least i wont look nearly as bad anymoreXD

    having a slingshot is badass b/c its like belittling your opponent.
    mobs see this and go b:sad we thought we were worth an xbow but but

    unicorn is dirt cheap but wind and clouds isn't exactly expensive either. i got mine for 600k wich i consider not bad considering the mat cost involved in making the thing

    I'd concur - the Wind And Clouds.

    However, You'd also want to be making your TT-crossbows while you have the Wind And Clouds.

    The TT/HH weapons usually have a chain of decomposition for the next tier.


    By the time you reach 80 you'll want the TT80 Crossbow for Town War purposes.


    Why I say that - you'll become really, really bored! Grinding for hours on end for some measly amount of experience points can get cumbersome and tedious.


    Town Wars become a good diversion - albeit VERY VERY expensive to attend.

    there called territory wars ya but will be expensive when its gvg and not pve wars
