Why do i have such a terrible connection speed while trying to download PWI?

Im trying to download this game (obviously) but whenever i try to download PWI, the connection speed lowers to as low as 2 bytes/second, whereas if i try to download something from anywhere else, it stays at like 70-80 KB/s. I tried doing the four smaller packs but they are just the same so im just doing it from the main download. Does/Has anyone else experience/d such a problem? Does anyone have a possible solution i might try? Thanks. (it was like this when i initially downloaded it the first time...but my memory card crashed so it was deleted and i tried quitting it but i want to return b:sad)

    Could be:

    Location
    ISP having problems
    Virus or malware eating bandwidth
    Too many people downloading the file at once
    Your own personal connection has a flaw somewhere (try resetting all connections)
    Are you wireless? if so I have more options.

    Yeah, im downloading/going to play this on my laptop. The modem for my high-speed <<(pfft, yeah right(jk)) is connected to a desktop computer downstairs and it runs into a wireless router where my laptop picks it up. Thanks again for helpful ideas.

    My first guess on a wireless connection, as I see this happen so often, would be someone else pulling the connection nearby and eating the bandwidth. All those other options still apply though, as well as:

    Problem with the router
    Too far from the router
    Settings have it to limit or stop connection from going to multiple computers at once (usually you have to manually set this but sometimes computers do funky stuff on their own)

    What others have said, it could be a variety of reasons why it is slowed down so much.
