Mini-Bosses

Are there some mini-bosses in PW? To clarify, I think of mini-bosses as bosses that are slightly weaker than the normal ones and can be soloed or killed by two people of the same level and can drop good items? Thanks!

There are a handful that would fit your description. Farng and Charr immediately spring to mind. In most cases as you level, though, you will find an increasing need for a good and balanced party to beat quest bosses. There are still a few soloable/duoable ones scattered around, they just become much more rare.0

Yes, there definitely are minibosses for quests. Similar to WoW, if you've played that, they are also marked with the elite fancy gold border. (Though there are elite mobs that are not quest bosses.)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Question about Farng: does his damage increase after a certain point? I'm using a Torgirn Puppet, and after he hits 50% he just trashes the golem.0

Indeed most bosses (mini or not) increase their damage when they are dying. But I don't remember Farng doing that. But, then again, I don't remember Dragoon of the Depths having such a strong AoE as to wipe out casters standing behind the tank either b:chuckle. When the going gets tough; Get a tank!

I can't remember him doing that, but it certainly possible. A lot of bosses increase damage after a certain hp %. Check Ence's guide here on the forums, he may have some more detailed info on him.0 -

I know that at 50% he got a buff for a few seconds, and after it went away is when the damage increased, but he seemed to be attacking faster at that point as well. Ence just said a group was recommended, and it was just odd I could keep the golem up without much trouble until 50%.0 -

As you are lvl 29 you can handle that moment easily. When you see your pet health drops fast just use spark eruption and you will get much powerful heals for 10sec. Then if you need just repeat.0
