which free pets r the best m def, pdef n atk wise and wat lvl do i need to be to tame them ive played for a while but this is my first veno/wf so pls dnt be mean about itb:question

    For the "best" grab a Volcanic Magmite for land and a Petite Sawfly for air. The golem has the highest Pdef and Hp, and very high Patt, and the fly is highest Patt with decent enough other stats to get any air quests done. Most will agree you don't really need a pure magic tank as the golem will do just fine, but an Antelope Pup is the best free Mdef pet.

    I thought Crystalline Magmites were better than Volcanic Magmites? Am I misinformed?

    Slightly higher stats at the same lvl, come with different skills. The stat difference is very small. I'd think Volcanic is still better since it comes with Tough.

    also you can use a stoneskin undine from fb 19 as your magic def pet it actually when lvled to same lvl as antelope pup has more mdef than the pup.

    on a plus side it will dance when left to sit there so instead of annoying pup noises you get a private topless dancer ftw

    HELL NO!
    Its not a "SMALL" difference; Its a HUGE DIFFERENCE! Dont look at them both at Lv30(for example) the stat diff MAY be not much; but if u compare end game Lv90;. is HUGE!

    ecatomb.net willl show you....Crystalline Mag dominates on every stat with at least 75 more than a Volcanic; and its just tough; dont forget the bash lvl is lower so that means less dmg = slower kill. Tough is like 400-700k? Easy 1 week strict grind at Lv30s, espcially on antelope pups; Even EASIER grind at Lv60s; averaging 1-2 days only!

    Volcanic Magmite is WORSE than Crystalline Magmite!b:angry

    Volcanic vs Crystalline is a VERY small difference at level 90. Volcanic stats are lower by: 3 hp, 6 Patt, 10 Pdef, 6 Mdef, 2 acc, 1 dodge. It is, however, .1 m/s faster and comes with Tough. Crystalline also come with lvl 3 Bash whereas the Volcanic only has lvl 2.

    The differences are very minimal. Personally I went with Crystalline just because you can't train stats, but if I had to do it over again I would have no problem using a Volcanic.

    Don't spout misinformation, there have been plenty of threads about how little difference there is between the two.
