when should i start lvling razor feathers?

    If you plan to solo aoe grind, wait until at least lvl 60 or higher. Some people never get into solo grinding.

    It's prerequisite for the seals, which you will want to get at high lvls. So it might help to get lvl 1 razor feathers, try it out, and see if you like it.

    As was stated, unless you are planning to fight multiple opponents at once it does not have much use, but if you are into that it can have value. I am currently level 75 and have not even picked it up yet. While it is listed above the seals on the chart it is not actually a prerequisite for them so there is no need to get it even to level one if all you want are the seal debuff spells. I would not recommend getting it until at least 60+ (since by that time you probably have maxed all your truly important skills) and even then I would only get it if there is nothing you want more.

    i had it at 1 and now im waiting for the new skills im gona get at lvl 39 paralizing seal^^ and the new heal

    Paralizing seal OR new heal. Not both. Those levels you'll be short of spirit points and money.

    Unless you plan on doing PvP, Razor is more useful than Wield Thunder for full mag or mostly full mag builds. Wield Thunder is only good in PvE for min mag builds, using the large bonus to make up for their smaller base magic attack. The DPS sucks compared to Cyclone/Plumeshot combo for full magic users. You also lose the slowdown off the bat in PvE.

    On the skill tree, they're in the same column, which might make it look like they're pre-req, but there is no arrow connecting them. So much wasted space on the skill tree, with the lines between the buffs and the party-wide buffs...

    (lol though, it'd be nice if metal mastery affects plume shot as well, and may be some variant of essential sutra... just to make wizzys useless b:laugh)
