hi~
Aside from the arcanne book: pet and the blessing of christmas, I would like to know if there are other items that automatically feed the pets.
thanks

No. And unless you have a legendary pet, it's really not that serious. Water is easy to get. b:victory

Supposedly, anything that goes into that slot will keep your pet fed. The only other one I know of is a mystical tome from the rebirth order quests.

thanks for your fast reply. In fact I was think about getting a herc, so that's the reason I was asking.
I guess I'll have to save up for the blessing too then.

Edit: ho, I'll check that thread before then, thx

Some pets require certain food for feeding.
Beside Arcane books, and Christmas of Blessing, this 2 allow your pets not to get hungry. But of course, the loyalty wont increase automatically. Hence, you still need food for it.

From what I know, Herc need meats for feeding.
Phoenix need hay or ginseng for feeding...

I'm wondering about this too. No one sells the xmas blessing, and I'm hoping that this christmas it might be out again...but probably not.
Agh...a chance not to feed the nix/herc!!!

My apologies for the necromancy ;o)

I have the +10 magic tome instead of the Christmas blessing, it does make it so my pets do not require feeding. But my herc still loses loyalty.

My question is: What causes loyalty loss (pet death, storing/calling, or just being online)?

Sorry for the double post on the necro b:surrender

I found the answer to what makes a pet lose loyalty when you have a blessing or mystical tome. When a pet dies, it loses X amount of loyalty.

Next question: How much loyalty do they lose, is it a percentage or a set amount?

When a pet dies, it loses 10% of the loyalty it had when it died. That's why it's recommended that you leave the Legendary pets' loyalty over 500, but as close to it as possible. That way, when they die they lose less loyalty then if you had it up to 999.

That would be one reason to keep the old golem around and use herc in fb,tt and rb squads. This way you can use the golem for quest grinding or alternating between them.
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

On the other hand, if they're at 999 then they can die several times in a row before they become disloyal and lose that 20% damage bonus.

And yes, for certain certain certain tomes in that slot forged at 1k streams work to keep your pet from losing loyalty over time. 20k (ish) for each of the fragments, 1 gold for each of the pages and you're good to go.

It's only ANOTHER million to spend. (And you can buy bigger and badder tomes!)
